My wife and I have done it a few times. We usually do the first week for two weeks because the first 2 days have a rest day in between due to our legs and abs hurt so bad. after the first days your muscles will be more used to it and then we do it atleast 5 days a week with 3 or 4 days in a row with no off days!

the elliptical really has helped my wife and I gain endurance and has helped get our cardio off the floor! When we started we could barely do 10 minutes and now we do 30 minutes easily...on rainy days we usually pic a 30-45 minute show on netflix and do our workouts while watching tv to break up the monotony!

thanks for all the input...i tend to do strength training without the weights (small house and no $ for gym) but i push so hard i feel it for a few days! Im gonna start doing it atleast twice a week to start then after a few weeks increase to 3X/wk with cardio in between. I got sick a few weeks back and couldnt/didnt eat…

i dis 30 minutes of elliptical trainer 3 days a week and was dropping half a pound a week then did a whole 7 days (30 minutes a day) just once to see if i would get improvement...boom 2.5 pounds that week lost...so for me it was enough (i walk alot also for my work out in the heat up and down stairs etc for 6-8 hrs a day…
