  • I'm planning on having prawn and corriander with sweet chilli sauce for savoury and fat free yoghurt and berries for sweet, also going to try and get some wholewheat flour to make it a bit healthier and use fry light in the pan not butter... we'll see how long that lasts though as my boyfriend will be having butter, syrup…
  • Hello The lowest weight my gym has is 8kg so that's where I started, although to be honest a lighter one might have been a bit better until the technique was in order. Now that I do it regularly I use a 12kg for a half hour class and will probably move to 16kg pretty soon. I would suggest getting some gloves though as I…
  • That due to an assignment deadline my weekend is revolving around mindlessly snacking (although a lot healthier snacking than I woul have previously done and I have worked out today) and the biggest confession is that until this work is handed in I don't even care!! Whatever gets me through (although I will still log and…
  • Hi This happens to me too, I think it's normal it's just when the muscles are getting tired from working good and hard. My bodypump instructor shakes during class too and I'm assuming she would know if it was a bad thing. xxx
  • Hi There This is a topic quite close to my heart as I have always been overweight myself and have managed to lose around 120lb so far and have a little to go until I reach my target and I will admit that I have the saggy skin issue. I have always had stretchmarks etc so I kind of expected that my skin wasn't going to…
  • Hi! I've lost 2 shoe sizes since I've started. Which seems nice but now i have to buy a lot of new shoes!! xx
  • I don't have an HRM but some of my MFP friends do and I think if anything they log more calories burned since using them. I often log fewer calories burned just to be on the safe side if the seem really high (so log that I only did 45 mins instead of 60) or dont eat all of the calories back but I think generally they seem…
  • I don't know about how much weight training you do but I go to body pump which is amazing! It is a combo of bar weights and free weights and it like an aerobics class, reaqlly motivating and toning! I do the weight training as I wanted to strengthen/build some muscles in order to perform better and burn fat faster (which…
  • Thank you all for your posts! It's always good to know that others have had the same problem. I think i am eating enough, I do try to eat more when exercising and have 3 meals a day with snack in between such as fruit so all in all i think im doing the right things. I didnt mention that I was also diagnosed with Graves…
  • Well apparently BMR is 1,745 and yet on MFP I eat 1,200.... that's quite a defecit! Although not complaining as im losing weight and earning myself a few more calories by exercising loads x
  • Hello I find Spinning, Boxercise and Kettlebells burn the most calories, particularly the first 2!! Give them a go they are AMAZING! xx
  • Thank you all for replying really quickly (I love MFP!!), however, I have gone to add the 60 min boxercise class as high impact aeobics and it's coming up as over 700 calories burned. How is this even possible. Does MFP work out calories burned in relation to your weight info or is it generic, I am quite big but not…
  • 2000 calories is quite a lot if you are eating healthy food, I'm quite big so they say that I could eat over that amount and lose weight but I really couldn't I have to be well below the 2000 as well as go nuts at the gym to lose weight
  • I'm very much in. I have set 5lb a month as my target so it will be nice to do it with others xx
