I respect your decision to stop pumping because of your busy schedule but if you can I would say try to pump at least once a day. You never know what situation may occur in the future when you may need that extra milk. I bf'd twins until they were 1 and boy was that hard. Towards the end I started having to supplement…

[/quote] I make "deals" with myself. -You want a cheeseburger? Okay, you can have it. If you're still hungry after a salad. (I'm never still hungry). -You don't want to exercise? Okay, just do the first circuit of your Jillian Michaels DVD and then you can stop. (I never feel like stopping once I'm through that first…

I have had the Mirena since the end of june 2012 & I am happy with my decision. I have had spotting and very light periods but its no big change in the heaviness of my periods bc I have never had heavy periods anyway. I think it was a good choice for me. No unusual mood swings or weight gain. As most everyone else has said…

Hi, I am a mother of three (a 4yr old girl and 3 month old twins). I am breastfeeding and boy is it a challenge with two. I log how many ounces I pump but when I nurse I don't even bother counting them. I have seen very slow weight loss but I really want to do a bit better since I'm getting married in about 5 months. I am…

Here I am! I'm breastfeeding two 3 month olds and I have been able to lose quite a few lbs since I left the hospital even though I eat outrageously sometimes. I'll add you and try to keep you motivated. We can talk about the eating whenever part later. :-)

Thanks everyone! I really understand what a lot of you are saying. I'm feeding two hungry babies so I guess those extra calories are going towards a great cause!

Before I got preggo with my first daughter I was just losing the freshman 15 that I had gained from college. Then I gained 19lbs while pregnant with her which put me at 198. After having her and breastfeeding, I got down to about 168lbs but then started to take "the shot". It blew me up to 235lbs. Yikes! I was determined…

I'll help keep you on track. :-)

I'm trying to lose weight also after having twins 3 months ago. It's been a little more challenging for me because I am breastfeeding so I eat a ton more calories a day so that I can keep up my supply. Good luck with your weight loss journey.
