I walk part way in and out of work (between train/bus) and either walk during my lunch break or walk to a station further away from work when I finish.....it takes effort, but 10k steps is never going to be easy or everyone would be doing it!

True, a sedentary person averages between 1,000 and 3,000 steps. 10,000 steps is around 5 miles, so that's exercise!!

Thanks tinaolsson, it was a real a real pain as I'd finally got into a proper routine of regular exercise. Still I suppose a couple of months is no big deal and I'll get back into it as soon as poss. "Pre-training" is pretty much as difficult as the real deal!!

Hi, how are you going with BBG? I'm on the 2nd week (just Friday to complete). Doing it alongside 10,000 steps per day.....lost 6.5lbs in 9 days, but I'm sure that will slow down soon!!
