since I became Primal, I haven't tracked my food. I also lost 12lbs in 30 day (on the Primal Blueprint 30 day Challenge). Make sure you are eating healthy fats, and that will keep you satisfied longer and you won't need to eat 6 times a day. When you're body is a carb burner, you're body craves it, and that's why you are…

Great Job!

You may have to double up on the mats. It it continues to get bad, you can purchase compression shorts for football, that have extra padding around the hip area

Check out http://jointhereboot.com/ - It's the website that coincides with the documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead". They have plans and info that'll def get you on the right track.

Plenty of time. If you need a plan outline, I can help. I'm a certified USA Track & Field coach.

Calories In vs. Calories Out Make sure you aren't eating too many, but make sure you're eating enough. I'd say eat to your caloric goal, and half of your workout calories. You don't want to eat too few calories on that program, because you definitely need the fuel.

Go early in the morning! Otherwise, wear appropriate attire and have plenty of hydration.
-
Just work on eating. If you have time, do a workout here or there. Diet is always key! If you exercise everyday, but your crazy on your food, you won't notice your gains.

I use it at home. I have a door mount, and an X mount. I have yet to put up the x mount though as the door one works just fine. It does come with a workout DVD included, as well as an extra workout on queue cards. There are tons of videos on Youtube to show different moves/workouts. It's a great addition to anyone's…

Why choose? Use both. Running on a treadmill is softer than the road. But I think more boring. I use both. The treadmill is great for speed work, especially for beginners, because it makes sure you keep your pace. You also don't have to skip runs due to weather if you have a treadmill. Running outside is a great joy. So…

I missed this. Thanks for posting.

If you get P90X, you may want to use Insanity workouts for your "cardio" days while on the X. Plyo X isn't nearly as difficult as Insanity's Plyo. Kenpo X isn't anything compared to any Insanity workout either. I think you'll love the strength training days though. I say go for it.

Exactly

I would suggest taking a few classes where a teacher can help pose you correctly. Once you are comfortable on your own, then you can study at home with the likes of Yoga X, Foutain of Youth, et al.

I agree. It's your workout time, do what you enjoy.

I'm sorry, I didn't have time to read all of these responses, so if I'm saying the same things as others... I don't like the idea of having "bad" food around children. I also don't like a closed kitchen. Having better food is the key, and I don't think not having sweets around will make a kid (as an adult) go crazy with…

It is odd that there is no Blackberry app. Livestrong has a BB app, and have thought about moving over to their tracking platform if MFP doesn't make one soon. It's not always convenient to get on their website to log, or look up info.

FYI, it's on the website for ordering now :)

You should be doing this in the deep end of the pool (you should not be touching the ground). BUT, you should be wearing a belt to help you stay afloat. You can purchase these at most sporting goods locations, pool suppliers, swimming stores, and the like. Online might be the best place with regard to price. For some info…

And your in Greencastle. If you're close to Carmel, go to the Runner's Forum. They'll take care of you!!!

Horrible advice!!! Especially for someone who has an ACL injury. Barefoot running is a gradual progression.
-
I suggest you go to a quality running store in your area. Have them evaluate your run, and also discuss your injury. They'll have several models that should match what you need. You probably will have to pay more than $80, but it's worth it, as opposed to going to the store blindly, getting an "$80" shoe, that could hurt…

I forgot to post my Monday run. Ran 3.5 miles. It was my 1 year anniversary for running too. I sit at 17.8 miles with 4 days. Looks like I need 8.4 miles. Doing 5 tomorrow morning, and running 3ish Saturday, so that should do it.
-
No problem.
-
I actually disagree. Being as you are a beginner, there is no reason why you should need an incline to mimic outdoor running. The goal is to put in the time. Also, no reason you can't modify the plan. I'd say try, and do what you can, but always strive to do more than the last time.

Ran 5 miles again last night. 14.3 miles done with 8 days left.
