Because I'm autistic, this is the first time in a looooong time I've had breakfast, and I usually skip lunch during the week - but I've put on weight due to a combo of medication and eating chocolate, whole tubs of ice cream, and snacking... I know it's probably not brilliant long term, but I may well keep up the breakfast…
-
Because then at least I'll eat/drink something for breakfast and lunch instead of snacking on chocolate and sweet stuff all day and totally failing to lose weight... It's working for me? Except the whole getting high enough!

MapMyWalk for the exercise calories. I'll look into getting a food scale, but I have done MFP before and it's worked just going off the packets... :/
-
No - I go by what's on the packet generally... It's worked for me before, so I don't know why it isn't now! Even if I was eating slightly more, I would still be at a deficit... And yes, I'm eating the exercise calories back...
-
There's no way I can run properly yet. I'd rather get better at just walking before trying C25k... I'm small, I'm carrying twice what I should be, running isn't happening yet...
-
Thanks. :) Someone on my FB said differently, but I think I'll go with this PoV - makes me feel better!
-
Thanks! It's annoying to be ALMOST at a stone... And then go up by 1-2lb...

My original post: 5'4" and 199.75lb atm. I really want to lose 5lb in September... I was losing 2lb a week - and then last week put ON 2lb... :/ I'm now (still) 5'4" and 192.5lb. :D So I've lost 7.25lb so far!
-
I thought it was 'New Small Victory' but... :P
-
Well, it's still tight, but it stops me only having 3 pairs of fitting trousers! :D So, after losing 10lb i'm into size 16.... So hopefully in another 2 months I'll be in size 14... In time to meet my goal of Christmas!
-
I'm under by ~500 today (even with ice cream and Nutella)... But then I slept for most of the day, and not sure shoving food into me just because has any point... No nuts in the house either... :/

Sadly they don't make the type of wraps I use in multigrain...

I'm gonna weigh again tomorrow - I had a very big cycle over the long weekend & didn't drink much, so I've been drinking like a fish today & hoping that it was water weight!

I'm currently 36F-ish. I used to be a B-C cup when I was younger, before I put the weight on... So fingers crossed!
-
I think it hit me when I ended up in size 18 trousers (UK) and realised I was heavier than my 5'9" husband!
-
Given I'm clinically obese, oh yeah, I'd need to lose weight...
-
Thank you! It's getting dark here (UK) so a walk's out, but I will resist the urge to go downstairs & eat. :) Coke-wise, I don't like diet/caffine free, but I do try & limit it... :) Husband brought a big pack of 330ml bottles from Costco, so I've been drinking them... :/ However they've almost all gone (he loves it too)…

For people in the UK I highly recommend the cycle to work scheme if your employer offers it. I'm applying for a 2nd bike (my current one is turning out not to suit me now, plus is, erm, a little damaged from impact with a slowly reversing car almost a year ago & it's all paid off & everything, so...) and at £33/month…

Tip for ice cream: Mark out the servings on the top with a knife if it's in a rectangular tub. So 125ml in a 1ltr tub = 8 servings. Then you know how much you're 'allowed' per serving. It helps me limit my intake!

Not got the sugar left (I rarely do!) but I can do porridge with nuts!
-
Just did L1D4 - STILL can't do the cardio without breaks... I blame the fact the backs of my lower legs were KILLING me (any ideas, ladies?) and I have a tiny lung capacity... :P So I only logged it as 15 minutes. :) I suspect I'll be doing L1 for 20-odd days before my legs get the hang of it!

I've always had a very high heart rate, even when I was young & skinny in high school... I need to lose ~5-6st... So not huge amounts... My blood pressure has always been good I believe, or at least I've never had any doctor comment it was high/low as far as I can recall... Last time I saw the doctor when I was exercising…
-
Right, I didn't do my 30DS today - because I went to the gym & did cardio for 150 calories & then swam for ~50 more... So I count that as Good Enough and will do L1D4 tomorrow. Although given I'm WAY over my sugar today (oops?) I feel like I really SHOULD, but...

Generally it's stuff mass imported over here - we even have shops dedicated to US food! :)

Danone Activia Yogurt Ham wrap with some light mayo or humous plus sundried tomatoes/lettuce/cheese or similar... Banana I always have ham as I like it - is this a huge problem?
