Thanks again for all the info :) Did you experience carb crash on the induction phase? Was it bad?

Sorry for so many questions but, on atkins.com it lists more vegetables and says you should be getting the majority of your carbs from these. The old atkins list does not have many vegetables so were are you getting your carbs from? I am just trying to get this straight. Also old atkins says you follow that list for a week…

Wow, thanks so much!!!

Thank you  I am also a bit confused if diet soda is allowed or not? Anyone have good snack ideas while doing the induction phase? The only concern I have is I have been reading about being jittery with headaches at first.

The replies here just goes to show how it is different for everyone. Even sizes! Someone said in the high 150's they wear a 6/8 at that weight I fit in a 10. I think height and where you carry your weight makes a difference. On to your question! lol A few years ago I lost 30 lbs and went from a size 14 to a 10...so 2 sizes…

RIght, been looking on Craigslist for quite awhile. Have not seen any yet with a 3.0 motor. Proform reviews state many are not good for running except starting with the model that sells for $999...most on craigslist so far are the lower models that are not recommended for running :ohwell:

Thanks everyone!

I have been looking online for a used one for quite awhile. People either have really old ones or not the motor I want. I can get one new for $500 but not a 3.0 hp motor...so, yes $1,000 for a higher quality treadmill...which you can actually spend $2,000+ for a quality one with a stronger motor that will last.

Too funny  Thanks for all the suggestions. I DO appreciate nature and we have A LOT of deer around they are always in my yard. Sometimes 12-15 of them spread across my front yard, I love it  Also see turkeys! However, I do NOT wish to have an encounter with a bear to find out what it will do or if it…

Thanks everyone! I guess I am not the only one that struggles at first....it seems odd that the first 7-8 minutes are the toughest! lol Seems the end would be...but, like many of you I really struggle and want to stop early on and then when I hit 8 - 9 minutes it feels *easier*. The question about off days....so…
