Some of Leslie Sansone's Walk at home series uses weights. My favorite one is Burn Body Fat & Sculpt Your Arms. There are 6 basic moves so it isn't really complicated and it only cost about 10 bucks. There are 3 different workouts on the DVD; a 1 mile one, a 2 mile one and a 3 mile one.

I actually think it is better to do shorter workouts a few times a day. It boosts your heart rate which helps you burn more calories. I say fit it in where you can!:flowerforyou:

I love Leslie Sansone's Walking off the Pounds DVDs. They give you a good sweaty workout but don't put you in pain like some of Jillian Michael's video's do. I recently tried a Tae Bo video as well and really enjoyed it plus it is a great calorie burn! :flowerforyou:

I've lost 75 pounds mostly walking in just under a year. I am not at my goal yet but I also had surgery in August and have hit a plateau. I continue to walk about 40 minutes a day M-F. Even if I don't lose another pound before the end of the year I stil think 75 pounds is a pretty good feat!

I'm no expert but your body could have gone into starvation mode due to losing so much so fast. Some people don't believe in it but I've read quite a few articles that say it is real. What does MFP suggest for you for maintenance calories? Good luck figuring it out.
