Dumbells can get expensive really fast, since a lot of them are sold by the pound. It may sound gross, so I apologize in advance, but I use the color of my urine as a guide. If it is very light yellow to colorless, you know you are drinking enough water. If it is yellow-dark yellow-orange, you need to drink more water. I don't know if this helps, but hopefully it does a little.

I love eating just fresh cucumbers. I recently have fallen in love with roasted broccoli as an easy side dish. My husband thinks I like them because they remind him of french fries. I also love baked kale chips.

I have popcorn snacks 3-4 times a week. My air popper has a lot of mileage on it. Also, I usually have it around 8:30-9, so 7-8 is not too late.

I went off for a month and didn't notice any changes. Have you tried switching to a different brand that has less hormones? I think most (not all) birth control side effects may cause weight gain, so will make it harder to lose weight.

Do you have dumbbells or something you know the weight of that you could use to "calibrate" or check the scale? If the 5 lb dumbbell weighs 5 lbs on one scale and not the other, you know which one is correct.
