  • I’m a K teacher who just resigned... The stress of all of it was taking too much of a toll on me both mentally and physically, and had so many behavior problems it was making it impossible to do my job effectively. It was a very hard decision but I’m going to take this time off to look for something else and get back on…
  • I just started!!
  • Blueberry oatmeal mug, and coffee with Salted Caramel Mocha creamer...
  • Don't let it get you down, you have to start somewhere! And they have shown the BL contestants throwing up:wink: Don't think most of us could handle that kind of intensity
  • Started over Saturday, the holidays were mine to enjoy! Plus, didn't want to be harassed about not eating from my mother:wink: Getting back into working out will be the hard part for me, but determined to get back to it! Now, if I can only keep my family from getting me a Birthday cake in a few days, I'll be good! Best of…
  • One thing that has made a HUGE difference for me is exercise! Running, doing JMBR, it all makes me feel good after I'm done (and that helps motivate me to do it!). Also having the extra exercise calories to eat a little more than I'd be able to if I were not exercising makes a difference, knowing I CAN eat and not starve…
  • Found on the quest website that the bars are sold thru GNC, if you have one close. Will have to go sample a few!
  • I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but....... I was on my last pack, with 2 months b4 my next checkup so I called to get a refill to get me thru till then. They only called in 1 pack with a "you need to schedule a checkup" note with my script. I am 45, and decided to just go ahead and get off the pill (and didn't…
  • Autumn, very nice results~ impressed!
  • Welcome to the madness! lol You will really love the workouts, no chance of getting bored. I started workout 7 today.......ouch!
  • Absolutely NO beating yourself up allowed!:noway: Making a committment like you have is a major feat in itself, and it's not always easy to keep it up once you've reached the end. I think it's natural to relax a bit afterwards and go "Ahhhh, I did good! " (which YOU did!). Now keeping to it, that is what sometimes proves…
  • Also have a Polar FT4 and absolutely love it!
  • Thanks so much for sharing, this is freakin' hilarious! I was laughing so hard my puppy was looking at me like I'm crazy and growling! Can't wait to share this with my hubby!
  • That is so awesome!! Really proud of you:flowerforyou:
  • LOVE your attitude! We all mess up sometimes, what's important is going "well, yep I did that, but I can sure as heck do something about it!"
  • I found some cute workout tops at Ross, if you have one near you! Favorite running tanks were Champion from Target
  • You look sooooo great! I love seeing the results from this program, you should be so amazingly proud!! :flowerforyou: I start phase 2 next week (hopefully)....was supposed to be today, but due to shin injury, dr. told me no high impact w/legs this week, so spending this week repeating week 4 with modifications. Keep up the…
  • I think you have done so well, and this sounds like a great idea! I love that the workouts are 30 minutes....who has time for more? Sounds like you have it planned out really well, I think once I finish, I will just revamp it to work for me! Go girl!
  • I know it's hard to think about 3 times a week, but try to stick to the program (let your body rest). I read on the website that it said even if you think you can do more, stick with their recommendations. I would defintely do this, especially just starting out. And good shoes are super important to help avoid injury, like…

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE the program! Hey, I'm 45 and started this in May with my husband. I NEVER thought I'd be able to run any kind of distance, and I ran track in high school (I was a sprinter, so distance wasn't my thing). Always was in awe of those people you see running for miles, thinking "How the heck do they do that?" lol…

  • Definitely reccomend the C25K! I used to "suck" too~ lol! No really, I coudn't run work a darn, and I ran track in high school......yes, it's been a while! I LOVE the program, it gradually builds you up to where you can run a 5K. Not there yet, but working on it:laugh: Best of luck to you!
  • Definitely reccomend a HRM, and I also would go thru heartratemonitorsusa.com. Got the best deal thru them (which was good, b/c hubby and I both wanted one!). It's really the best way to get accurate calorie burn. Best of luck to you!
  • Very nice! Only 13? Way to go!
  • My hubby and I are on here together..... he found out about it, set up his account and mine, then came home and told me to log in! lol Only he and my kids and a few friends know. I hate it when people see me making changes, roll their eyes, and say "you look fine, you don't need to lose". My reply is usually "well, that's…
