I'm on workouts 3&4 of Phase 1. I stayed on 1&2 for 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks. I think I'll do the same for 3&4 since there are some moves that I can't seem to get through. One thing I do know about Jillian's programs is that you do improve and get stronger with each work out. It will just take me longer. I have time.

You are burning calories, but it will really vary depending on the intesity, your weigh and physical condition, which is why most times these nubers are hard to find, they vary too much. If you really want to know, buy a heart rate monitor.

it is probably counting the calories you burned since midnight. It calculates your calories burned based on your weight. You probably burn around 1800-2500 calories per day being sedentary depending on your current weight. Exercising amps up those numbers.

I read your post history too, Angel. I agree with the above post. Maybe there is something else going on with your metabolism. Taking diet pills generally dont work in the long run. Some can elevate your blood pressure or cause other problems. Check with your Doctor or consult a dietician.

Most hotel with workout rooms have free weights and treamills. It might even do your body good to switch it up. You probably have to engage your muscles in a slighlty different way to duplicate those exercises using free weights vs a barbell. Here's a link to an article on dumbells and barbells.…

If those are your choices, chose a gym that has free kettle bell classes. It is really easy to do the kettle bell moves wrong, so it would be good to start with someone that can check your form.
