Welcome sweetie : ) I've lost 3st since Jan using MFP. My little boy has just turned one so a big lump of that was pregnancy weight. Good luck! You can do it x

Great job! You can definitely tell the difference. Keep up the good work

I tried it but couldn't keep it up. Plus - Special K is expensive!! I much prefer corn flakes or Weetaflakes. Yummy : ) Its good for quickly losing a few pounds but I found I was hungry and got very bored

I have a Shock Absorber which I wear over a standard non-wired bra, so they're double-bagged lol but does the tricks. Not sure where you'd buy a Shock Absorber in the US though as I'm in the UK. Google is your friend : ) Good luck, I know how much of a pain in the *kitten* the girls can be!

Ooh interesting! Love sweet potatoes. Can anyone tell me the beat way to cook SP on the bbq? Thanks in advance : )

I get this too and, like you, just normally grab something sugary. For me its usually a sweet tea or coffee. I've had my blood sugar tested and its come out low every time. My shaky moments though tend to come a few hours afte eating even if I ate healthy and am not at all hungry. Even spoke to a doctor about it a couple…

Dried fruit - 30g of sultanas is 90cals if I remember right, and is also one of your 5 a day. I know its probably not classed as clean but I really like Muller Rice - 200 ish cals a pot, low fat and tasty : ). And sometimes I'll even add a couple of teaspoons of honey to the plain ones. Yummy : )

Digital food scale every time for me

Great NSV! I've gone down a belt-hole this past week myself - fab feeling! Keep up the good work x

OMGosh! Awesome job lovely lady x

Thank you all so much for sharing your experiences : ) It is much appreciated. And yes, agreed, breastfeeding has helped me lose weight, I'm sure of that
-
True. I'll have to experiment and find something that does the job without having so much fat and salt and bad things

Thank you Maria : ) I just don't want to lose and get to a healthy weight just to pile it all on again next time! In my first trimester last time all I wanted was biscuits and ready salted crisps lol. Its something I'm going to have to control next time. Good luck with your pregnancy! Have a happy and healthy 9 months : )

I'm glad this has been asked! I noticed a few days ago that I can apparently burn more calories walking alone than pushing my son in the pushchair. No way!!! Its a great workout taking him out and we go out most days so I can burn calories. I still just log it as pushing/pulling stroller with child and figure the extra…

Here in my area of the UK we have our first scans at around 10 weeks. I waited til my scan which confirmed I was 10 weeks and 6 days along before I told the "world". But I told my parents, best friend and my manager all by 6 weeks. I think for me it really helped having people know. I couldn't have gotten through work for…

According to MFP I can burn 378 cals in 30 minutes on the elliptical but the machine itself normally puts me at about 320. I use the lower figure. And just to be doubly sure I don't normally eat back all my exercise calories anyway. It'd be interesting to hear from others who use their HRM while using the elliptical

I have lost 20.5 lbs in just under 8 weeks. I started at 198lbs. I'm not hungry, I'm not over-doing it on the exercise front. I try to eat healthily but still eat what I like a lot of the time. Admittedly I am breastfeeding but I get extra calorie allowance for that. All I've done really is cut out the crap and start…

Added : ) I'm from Wales in the UK

You can do it! I've been doing this for 7 weeks now and you just have to keep plodding on. Try not to let it rule every minute of your thoughts. Time will pass when you're not thinking about it. Good luck!

Hey *waves* I've been here 6weeks too and am loving it. I like seeing how my friends are progressing and supporting them. Add me as a friend if you like, we can help each other through this. I intend to be here well past achieving my goal as I've lost weight before but never managed to maintain it Edited for spelling -…

I agree. I think you should see the dr just to be safe. I'm sure everything's fine but better to get it checked out just in case

Mine's at 1490 with my activity level set to sedentary

Hahahahaha!!!

I went out for lunch today and ordered a plain steak and baked potato. It was so good and not terrible calorie-wise. But I'm regretting the 200 odd empty calories of cola that I had with it! I should have just asked for water

Have you tried shopping in the tall section? You might find something suitable there

Before we all got married and started popping out sprogs, my friends and I would go to clubs to dance just with each other. Your observations are so how we were. Any guy tried to dance with us and we'd just turn the other way. If he kept on he may even have got an elbow on the ribs! Such a turn off when men think they can…

Good luck!

I am totally having pancakes! With banana and honey I think. Mmmm yummy!

My son is nearly 7 months and I eat between 1400 and 1800 cals a day, depending on cals burned through exercise that day. My supply hasn't been effected by my change in diet. If you're still producing plenty of milk, don't worry too much. As mentioned above, some breastfeeding women struggle to lose weight. Maybe once…
