I promised I would only weigh in once a week, trying to break the scale obsession. It has been the hardest thing EVER!!
Anyone else staying off the scale on a daily basis?
So tonight I weigh in and it is killing me to see how much, if any Iost.
I want to move the ticker!!!

Is there a reason you like weighing at night? First thing in the morning, before you've eaten or had anything to drink, naked is the most accurate.0

I agree0 -
I weigh in at night too....for a competition I'm doing. I gained 3 pounds this week after a 4 day mini vacation to visit some family. I'm just telling myself I can lose it this week!!0

I weigh in every Thursday morning! I don't have scales at home and I don't even bother with scales at gym. Once a week only - same day, same clothes, same scales...0

ugh, you could not pay me to weigh myself at night LOL
First thing in the morning, naked and empty !0 -
Weighing at night will give you inaccuracies. Depending on what you ate/drank during the day you could weigh in heavier than you really are. First thing in the morning, after you potty, before you eat is the best time.0

Good luck!0

Weighing myself daily would be torture for me! There are just too many normal fluctuations. Once a week, in the morning gives me the long-term tracking I want to see. Although, I will admit if my weekly weighing didn't go so well, I have occasionally done a mid-week weigh-in just to check.0

My "sweet spot" for weighing in is about 10:30am. I don't have a scale at home so I only use the one at work. By that time I have had breakfast and usually 3 glasses of water already. Hopefully a bathroom break in there too, but I found that 10:30am works best for me. I seriously have weighed myself an hour before or an hour later and the weights are quite a bit different. You have to find what works best for you.0

I always weighed myself in the am, but I am doing a Weight Loss Challeng at my gym. My weigh in is Wednesday night around 530pm.
We then do an hour with the PT.0 -
Stress is awesome for weight loss!
Only weigh in the AM after making your...daily deposit!0 -

I weigh in every Tuesday morning. I haven't weighed in daily in years, but when I did it was always depressing. The slightest water weight can make it go up from day to day, and even though you mentally know it's not fat, seeing the scale go up at all is depressing as h*ll. so once a week works better for me.
My problem is times when I get lazy and don't weigh in at all for months. Then the weight creeps up gradually, and suddenly you've gained 60 pounds and you're not quite sure how you let it get that bad. lol
Keeping an eye on things is definitely the way to go.0 -

I only step on those scales once per week. I used to do multiple times per day a long while ago until I realised if the scales didn't move I would get depressed lol0 -

In my opinion as long as long as you're weighing the same time every week it's not a big deal to do night or day, it's just whatever works best for you0
