Thanks for the link. It appears this was a deliberate move on FitBit's part. Makes no sense to me and is actually a bit of a piss off. I hope they change it back as a lot of folks are unhappy with the "new" adjustment.

What a change! You look great. I started off weights by doing a program called Kettleworx. It combines cardio with weight lifting and it is kind of addicting. I'm on my sixth week and I can't believe the difference in my strength, flexibility and muscle definition (I sound like a commercial). I love it.

Wow!!!! That is amazing. You should be so proud of yourself. Well done!

I believe that feeling better is really the ultimate goal here and it sounds like you do....so definitely a NSV!!!

I'm the same. It's tought to eat more when you just aren't hungry. That being said, I'm thinking there must be something to this advice as so many people have suggested it. Good luck on smashing that plateau!

I want to be 150 too! This sounds like a good plan...I'll try this along with other advice I received about building muscle and see how it goes. Thanks for your help.

You could be right....maybe I'll try worrying less about the number on the scale and more about the inches. My husband was just telling me the same thing...LOL. I've been avoiding weights mostly because I had some major surgery in November but I think I"m at the point where I can start doing some muscle building exercises.…

Months! That's terrible! I'm hoping someone who has experienced this will give us some pearls of wisdom which will help us get past this. Hang in there girl.

I'm 5'7" and I am eating, on average, about 1200 - 1400 calories per day. I exercise off about 300 calories, usually by riding my bike or doing a step aerobics class. As for drinking, I usually drink decaf tea of some sort, skim milk or juice (and not a lot of juice) and water. Occassionally a glass of wine but not often…

I agree with Brian on this one. 6 one hour workouts has more benefits and less risk of overexerting your muscles (and hence injury) than 3 two hour workouts. I know how you feel about "the wall" where you just don't feel like doing it anymore. Maybe try an entirely different exercise if you can...running around the yard…

You look fantastic! What a difference. Keep up the good work.

Any idea where one can buy Xanthan Gum? Thanks for the recipe....I love strawberries!

Hi there! I'm pretty new too having joined in January. I started with 20 pounds as my goal to lose and so far I've lost 8. MFP has actually made losing weight kind of fun and I've met some lovely people. All the best to you.
-
You can add me! I have been known to make people laugh (usually by doing something really stupid)!

Hi Rabbit! Im a new member and I'm surprised how much MFP has helped me. I was so far off on what I thought I was eating in terms of calories (and portions) its no surprise I couldn't lose weight. I've lost 8 pounds since I've been on MFP. Morocco is quit a motivator! I've always wanted o go there. I work in Africa (Gabon,…

Wow, I envy you! I can barely make it to 40 oz. I wish I liked drinking water more than I do. I'd say if you feel good, it's probably ok.

I'm up for that!

Hi Princess721, I'm a new member too! I was also fed up with feeling lethargic and generally not well and felt that it was time to do something about it. I had been sick for a couple of years and finally had surgery in November so now I have the physical ability to get moving again. I managed to pack on about 25 pounds and…
