Mine broke a few weeks ago when I was sent away to work and I spent a week in a hotel with fried breakfasts. I was amazed to see the weight loss start again once I got home. I work away 1 week in 4 now and it keeps giving my metabolism a good kick!

You need different people in your life!

I'm sure the weights are from frozen, unless it says otherwise.

Yes, definitely me. On holiday in Mallorca last September!

I guess I would if I really needed the money....but then I might be skinny if I couldn't afford to eat!
-
Hey, well done. Your stats are similar to mine. Keep up the hard work!

Hey, well done. Similar stats to me. Keep up the hard work :)

Exactly. At least find time to write a response!

I take fruit to work every day, and eat it bit by bit across the day, instead of eating it all at 12pm.

I walk at least 3 miles a day after my last meal of the day and count it as exercise. On a weekend, I will try to do 2 walks a day, or 1 walk and some housework, or last weekend I spent 2 hours gardening then had 1 walk afterwards. I always add the calories that I've walked back. I guess you could always add half back if…

There's always the option of exercising on a weekend, even some short walks will burn off a few calories. Try www.sports-tracker.com on your mobile to count your walking calories

Everyone that I know who has had depression has been treated successfully by their own doctor. I can't see why everyone would refuse you help!

Well done! Definitely an inspiration!

The only person that tells me that I need to lose weight is my mother, and she nags me about it, despite the fact I'm 40! Also, I posted a picture of me on Facebook, and I was in a slightly too tight jumper, and a friend asked 'Getting dressed in the dark again, Rob?'

I quit smoking, then was promoted from a heavily manual job into a management role. 5 years and 50lbs later I decided to do something about it!

All of the above. We are all here because we want to be healthier, slimmer and live longer. Being fat is bad for you, just as is being under-nourished. Why the OP feels the need to have a go at skinny people is beyond me, a few issues going on here methinks!

After 5 weeks of logging every calorie, I've just had a very very naughty dinner. It's good to let go once in a while because it becomes boring if you are too obsessed with it. I have moments when I get very anal about it but then think this is a long-term plan for the rest of my life so a few little treats won't hurt!

As a gay man, I compliment al of my friends if they are looking good, but I tend not to be brutal with the ones that aren't. Anyone can tell their friends they look like crap, it doesn't have to be a gay man!

I love to travel to Spain & Portugal, their climate is so much nicer than the UK weather. I try to manage 2 or 3 trips a year if finances allow :)

Fruit, rocket salad, a whole chicken (cooked in the slow cooker with nothing more than lemon juice and garlic), vegetables to make soup with and vodka :drinker:

Low-fat crisps (chips) from Aldi - 99 calories per bag! Salt & pepper flavour, yum yum!

My partner started mfp a week or so before me, but I liked it enough to start to. It's so much easier to do it together, and we've walked nearly 120 miles in 3 weeks, whereas before we would go everywhere in the car!

Tesco flavoured fizzy water is great, and I even put a drop of vodka in on a weekend

This doesn't bother me when I go to the gym

Hey, well done!

Well done!!

Same here, every day.
-
I'll get there...one day!
-
I have found it easier to lose weight once I started to count the calories and then I could understand why I was fat! Try to get an idea of how many calories you eat and drink every day :)

Over the past few years, I've rekindled friendships on Facebook, which has then led to being back in touch with people that I'd lot touch with. Even better for me is the fact I'm in contact with loads of cousins that I hadn't seen for 20+ years. Good luck!
