  • Besides weighing yourself, are you taking measurements weekly or taking weekly photos? How do your clothes fit? IF is tricky, especially for women our hormones don’t like it and I would only do IF only and if I’m trying to lose the last 5lbs , but I do follow a rule of thumb which is I don’t eat late at night at least 2-3…
  • Anywhere between 0.8-1g/ kg is recommended. However if your weight lifting then 2g/kg should be the max. I have an Instagram page where I post a ton of meal ideas along with my post workout meals. My IG is [removed by MFP moderator] I workout fasted I powerlift at 6am then when I’m done with training around 8ish I have a…
  • I count macros. I’ve been there done that with Keto! I tried it 6 years ago, yes I lost weight but gained it all back and some. Yes it does have its benefits if done correctly! Such has helping individuals who have epilepsy or PCOS. But if you have a history of having an eating disorder such as binging or your a yo-yo…
  • If you are consistently eating the same thing everyday even if it's clean supplementation would be required, but if you eat healthy and keep a variety of vegetables lean meats and healthy fats, no supplement is required at all! As long as you consume 5 servings of fruits & vegetables or more that will be more than enough…
  • I do IIFYM and I don't add fiber as my carb lol yes it is a type of carb but your body doesn't digest it. Carbs are broken down to sugars! Just consume more complex carbs which contain more fiber.

  • Drink lots of water! Stay nice and hydrated and hit it again just don't do so much if your body isn't accustomed to it. Take baby steps!
  • Weekends are the hardest for me too! It comes down to how bad you really want it and if your goal is a priority. I go through my motions where no one or anything can influence me from falling off but I also have my moments where I have no self control. But I bring it back and think wait a minute! I'm passionate about…
  • I consume a little more than 20g, I Increase my carb intake as well and keep my fat low lowwww. Fat digests slow and in consumption after a workout it will only slow the protein and carbohydrates to get to your muscles. It really depends on how much protein your consuming for the day and if you are eating smaller meals.…
  • I consume 1g per my body weight, I've been doing it for years, if I'm trying to build more muscle or low carbing I will increase it however not for long. As long as you are consuming 0.5 - 1 grams your fine. It will cause damage if your are overly consuming high amounts of protein for a long time. Also keep in mind you…
  • You can do it!! It's all about being consistent if you fall off you get back up and do it again. You have to catch yourself and learn to say no sometimes! I always say no to whatever is being thrown in my face at that moment and say to myself, no but I can have that one day. Idk for me that works and it's been working.
  • If your weight training and going heavy, how many days a week and how long do you workout for? Seems like you should be eating more wholesome foods! Not only is it better but your getting more bang for your buck! Why don't you try eating more complex carbs with protein before your workout and after your workout also digest…
  • As long as you hit your target you should be good!!!! However when I wanna lose 5 -8lbs I don't consume carbs at night and I get leaner faster in a couple of weeks, but that's if its for a special occasion. I eat for health so I eat carbs whenever.
  • Mmm you can try rice cakes! Just crumb them into semi big pieces and dress them up with hot sauce, chile powder and lemon. I love chips too
  • I tried IF and I gained weight, I gained 5lbs, for some reason it didn't sit well with me. My body is just use to what I've been doing for years. Good luck
  • Coke Zero, Bcaa's, water, bud light on a Sunday afternoon
  • B12 injections once a week help, sleep at least 7 hours a day, exercise and a well balance diet increases energy. The 5hour energy are good too
  • I lost all on my weight doing IIFYM and I'm still counting my macros. I consume egg whites, chicken breast, tuna, turkey breast, steak, protein powders and I make sure each meal has protein. I don't worry about my cholesterol because I don't consume too much of unhealthy fats. As long as each meal has enough complex carbs…
  • I had the same problem. It's all about will power! How bad do you really want it? You have to take control and learn to say NO, I'm only having this and that's that. Drink tons of water, look at motivation videos or pictures till you get use to it. It's always hard the first week or so after that you will start to see…
  • Are you tracking every bite? Is your macros consist or calorie intake? Drinking enough water? Do you have any cheat meals or days? There can be a lot of different factors.
  • How long have you been doing the High vs Low? If you don't see any changes maybe it's best you stay consistent on High or Moderate carbs until you start to see some changes. Also what are your workouts like? and do you workout daily? The days you are resting consume a lower amount of carbs :) I personally stay the same…
  • I just take glutamine before during and after my workouts daily and it helps with soreness. I also use the foam roller after my workout
  • I eat them back sometimes but it all Depends on the intensity of my workout that day, and the type of foods Im consuming. I learned to listen to my body and it's taken me a lot of trial and error to figure out what works for me. I would suggest you try consuming back some of your calories if your really hungry and load Up…
  • I use to struggle myself, with the all Or nothing and restricting myself from certain foods, that was the worst I could ever do to myself :s . It finally came to an end when I stopped stressing out about it. The more I focused on what I can and can't eat the more I was sabotaging my hard effort. Yes! there are going to be…
  • I get my protein from natural sources, I stopped drinking shakes because I prefer to enjoy my food.
  • I myself have always found myself to get back to my horrible habits, But no matter what I never gave up and continue to jump back into it, even though it would last a week. What I'm saying here no matter what don't give up and try to get back into it. You will eventually start to develop those good habits. That's how it…

  • Meal 1: Egg whites & oatmeal Meal 2: Smore's Protein Shake & Oatmeal Meal 3: Tilapia , fingerling potatoes & Veggies Meal 4: Greek Yogurt & Fruit Meal 5: Chicken breast, Eggs, Veggies & Sweet Potatoes
  • When I feel stressed out about counting my Macros I take a couple days off sometimes a week, I just portion control and I make sure I have protein/carbs/healthy fats with every meal. I usually maintain when I do this. But it's always helped me jump back into it.
