Anybody still drinking an energy drink everyday...or is it just me? I know they're bad for you, but I wake up at 4:15AM five days a week to go work out before work and by the afternoon, I need a pick me up. Coffee doesn't seem to work anymore. Thanks!

That's what I drink! lol Monster Energy Zero Ultra...I actually like the taste of them, but I do limit to one 16 fl oz can per day0 -
Don't drink them - I'm too cheap........I make coffee every morning - all of my co-workers pray it takes effect in a timely manner........0

Yep, that's exactly what I drink. I am generally most fond of the Red, and Orange ones, but I like all of the flavors. There's usually some sort of sale on them at one of the local supermarkets, so I can get a four pack for a few bucks.
I have been meaning to cut back on them though considering I drink so many, but man... the second half of my day just drags if I don't sip on one after lunch.0 -

I only bring one to work with me....so I won't over do it. I've had one in a black can before that was zero calories, sugars, etc but it didn't taste so great lol0 -

I was being TERRIBLE and would have a coffee + two energy drinks x day during the holiday season. I eliminated the energy drink portion but I still have to have a daily coffee - which I'm so desperately trying to cut out, but I don't think it's going to happen.1 -

I think I've just gotten so used to the taste lol besides these I mostly only drink water0 -
B12 injections once a week help, sleep at least 7 hours a day, exercise and a well balance diet increases energy. The 5hour energy are good too0

All those ingredients scare me to death.
B-12 Injections from a doctor for a deficiency. Vegetarians can run short. A daily multi will have plenty. My mom has to take these for a couple of months. Blood work showed she was low.0 -
They showed a study on energy drinks last night on the news. They strongly urged no more than 2 a day due to the heart damage they can cause.0

Sure enough, it's all over the internet. Just google "deaths due to energy drinks".
Careful ok?0 -

Meat eaters can also be low on b120 -
I drank a 20oz RedBull everyday for 10 years. I'm finally 2 weeks free of them. That took determination, lol. The struggle is real0

How did you live before energy drinks even existed?0

Ok. You're tired at work. Try getting out for a 15 minute walk in the afternoons. It is quite eye-opening. Or try changing out your lunch foods. Too many refined carbs can create the snooze zone.0

I am an energy drink addict. It's been 3 weeks since my last monster and every day is a constant battle.0

I love them but only drink one per day. I like the 0 calorie ones and many have only a small amount of sodium. They are free for me, which definitely helps at over $2 a piece.0

Some are questionable and being investigated by the FDA. I never drink them. I also read every label of foods for their ingredients. I studied nutrition in college and what I learned about additives that corporations add in food is shocking. Subway added a chemical used in making rubber to their bread to make it more white. Only when they were exposed did they remove it.0
