definitely normal. I actually find myself gaining about a week before and it doesn't come off until a week after. Frustrating is an understatement. On average, I put on between 3-5 lbs...sucks.

ugh......my strategy is to load up on the fresh veggies, not the prepared salads, and tons of water. If I eat anything after that, it's usually chicken and more veggies. Sometimes I slip. I'm human - it happens.

I'm in a foul mood today so I had a cheeseburger for lunch and just had a chocolate croissant from Starbucks. My sweating will come from Shoulders & Arms care of P90X. I'll do it, begrudgingly because all I really want to do is crawl into my bed and sleep.

I'm on month 2 of my first round. I've lost 12 inches all over my body and am down 9 lbs since I started. I am stronger, have more endurance, and feel great! Keep at it - don't give up! I plan on doing a round of Insanity after I finish this round of P90X. Once finished, I may do another round of P90X. Good luck!

I'm 5'1 and am on my 3rd week of P90X - 3 days strength/3 days cardio/1 day rest or alternate, which in my case is swimming. When I started, I was at 1300 cals. My BB coach recommended I up it to 1500. Once I did that, I started seeing real results.
