I like to grill a chicken breast and slice it up and put it in a wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers and then drizzle it with bruschetta salad dressing. So yummy. If you put the dressing in a small container the wrap stays nice and fresh.

You can never beat yourself up for having an off day. A big part of losing weight is allowing yourself to indulge every once in awhile. Change up your routine to help kick start things over again. Go by measurements not weight because you could be losing weight and building muscles at the same time and the scale wouldn't show the weight loss but your body is still getting smaller and tighter. :flowerforyou:

My daughter had shin splints when she played softball and they gave her a compression sock to wear.

I make a fat blaster shake with plant based protein powder. I saw it on Dr. Oz. It really helps. I make it as my breakfast. I t has the powder, sugar free juice, frozen fruit, flax seed, chia seeds and flaxseed oil. It really fills you up for 4-5 hours.

If you don't enough calories your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose anything. If you arent hungry try eating things a little higher in calories but not fat (unless it's good fat). Try nuts .

I was initially inspired to join for my daughter. I wanted to be here and healthy for her as she grows into adulthood. I use them in my fat blaster protein shakes and they really do help to keep you full because they expand. I love them but they get stuck in your teeth...lol Don't buy the powder form though....get the whole seeds. They lose nutritional value when they are ground up and can't fully expand.

There is a program called Couch to Marathon. It walks you day by day from being a couch potato to running in a marathon. It takes you in realistic steps.

All you can do is move on and start the new day fresh and back on track. Don't beat yourself up....we spend years abusing our health and it isnt going to change overnight.

I too have been stuck on a plateau for almost a year. I have recently started working with a trainer and he says I am not eating enough calories for the workouts I do. Maybe that is your problem?? He also said that sometimes when you stall at weight loss you need to gorge and then start all over again. Hope that helps…

they key is to find things that will fill you up and keep you full. I like protein shakes. You can change the flavors every day to suit your mood !!
