  • Okay...it's Monday...April 5th I did my 120 mins of exercise, drank at least 10 glasses of water, took my multivitamin and omega3, and got my 5 servings of fruits and veggies. YAY! And at the end of the day, I have 1000 extra calories.
  • Yesterday (April 1) : Cardio: 30 mins walking outdoors,60 mins on treadmill, 30 mins on strength training. Water: 6 glasses Fruits & Veggies: 2 glasses of V8 Fusion Strawberry Banana (that's 2 servings of fruits and vegetables per glass), steamed broccoli I bought the vitamins yesterday, started taking them today. I got…
  • I'd rather put it in there under cardio and have the calorie burn be logged as lower than what it was than not put it in there at all. So at the end of the day, I burned 1000 calories according to MFP but in reality I burned more...not a bad thing right?
  • Welcome and good luck!
  • That's what I do
  • I'd like to know the answer to that myself. I've heard never eat more calories than you burn. Burn a certain number of calories. I just don't know.
  • The water does help. Alot of times, especially for people who are active during the day, they are bored at night. Some of us have conditioned ourselves to eat when we are bored. If you can find something to do with your hands, it helps. I've taken up crochet and it has helped alot with me not wanting to snack when watching…
  • I have this same problem. I usually have a hard time meeting protein and going way over sodium too. No more eating out or "diet" meals....because everything is sooooo high in sodium. I cook my own meals...no salt added...that is the best way to cut down on sodium. A glass of wine with dinner helps with the calories. Also,…
  • I do LOVE this site already. It's helped me alot stick with this. THanks, Laura! -Sable
  • Thanks Katie!
  • LOL! It's amazing isn't it? I would be scared to see how much my fav meal from Sonic was. I had to cut out the potato chips. I dropped 5 lbs when I did in just one month. I love food. I love to cook. So it's been a challenge finding recipes that match my calorie limit and still cook enough so that my husband isn't made to…

  • Hey, I'm new here myself. I've been logging on for about 2 weeks. I've found that if I log in EVERY DAY it keeps me inspired to keep at it. I use the calorie counter and log in my meals...sometimes I go over, sometimes under...but seeing the numbers really helps me stay focused. I also use the exercise log....cause I NEED…
  • Hi there. My name is Sable Grey and I spend approximately 15 hours a day on a computer. I gained 30 lbs about 5 years ago and I haven't been able to shed any of it until recently when I really got serious, cut out potato chips and hot dogs from my diet, and started working out. I found this site last week and really enjoy…
  • WOW....that's GREAT! I only do a mile a day....lol. I can't image doing TEN!!!! good job!
  • Thanks! I appreciate the advice!
  • Yeah I guess it WOULD depend on what the plan you are on says - one cup may be the serving size for you, in which case what Matty said. :D
  • Thanks for asking this question. I've just started working out in the last two weeks and of course it's the mid section I'm most concerned with. This week I've really bumped up my workout from just walking to walking with weights and running (can I just say I hate my boobs now...HATE). This makes me feel good in that I…
  • OMG! I have been looking and looking for a cabbage eggroll recipe! I have had them one time when I visited Houston MANY years ago and LOVED them but couldn't find a recipe that matched what I had eaten. I'm not vegitarian but these eggrolls were so friggin YUMMY that I wanted them again. This is so fabulous! Thank you…
  • I've just started this whole *wincing at the word* DIET thing but if I were to guess, I'm going to say one cup cooked. My reason is that while I know little about dieting, I know ALOT about cooking (thus the whole DIET) and one cup of uncooked rice is two servings. :D
