  • (Bump for later, also. I would like to be able to refer back to this one in the future.) Thanks for the info. I have the book already but I haven't picked it up in years. I might have to blow the dust off of it and give it a go.
  • The Chicken and Biscuits are my go-to favorite at The Cheesecake Factory. So delicious!! The Thai Lettuce Wraps are a must-have. And the macaroni and cheese side dish, too! They put those little buttery crispy crumbs on top that make it so much fun to eat. After sharing all of the above, we usually skip the cheesecake…
  • Good job and a super high-5 to you! You are truly inspiring.
  • Bump for recipe
  • I found this little concoction on another website and it works for me. It's called Jillian Michael's Detox Tea. 60 oz. purified water 2 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Tbsp. cranberry juice 1 Dandelion Root tea bag Add water, lemon juice and cranberry juice to a jug and give it a little swirl to combine. Add the tea bag and let it…
  • I am experiencing the exact the same thing! After a couple of weeks of Insanity, my jeans are so snug in the backside and thighs that they are getting uncomfortable to wear. I feel like Super Girl when I do the workouts so I'm trying to be patient and stick with the program to see what my end results will be. Hang in…
  • Bump...for tofu inspiration. I used to cook and eat tofu regulary but somehow strayed away from it. I think it's because our local supermarket stopped carrying ORGANIC tofu, which is important when consuming soy products. *Edited for spelling. Must remember to check spelling before posting comments.
  • Sounds like great results to me. Stick with it and keep pushing...the noticeable results will catch up to the effort you're putting into it. In the mean time, enjoy the endorphins from the workouts and the feeling you get from being able to say "I'm doing Insanity!!" Now I just need to heed my own advice. I am also on week…
  • Bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut (on a roll that is a little bit sweet-I love the sweet and savory combo) Corn dogs Funnel cake Bloomin' Onion Sausage in a tortilla Brisket sandwich, brisket taco, anything brisket Ice cream sandwich made out of waffles Fresh squeezed lemonade I love fair & fiesta food!!
  • Bump for later reference. Thanks for the info!
  • A ride in the back of the truck to each and every house. Seriously people! If your child is going to go home and gorge themselves on candy, don't you think they should get a little bit of exercise first? Let them walk! I saw this A LOT in my old neighborhood. In fact, there were so many cars clogging the street that my…
  • Bump for later.
  • I really like Blue Diamond Unsweetened Almond Milk: vanilla, plain and chocolate. I haven't tried the sweetened versions because I'm afraid they will be too sweet for my taste. I really like the flavor of the plain and vanilla flavors in my cereal and smoothies and as an added bonus I don't feel as weighed down as when I…
  • Heck yeah I did! I ate peanut butter crackers and a glass of milk for breakfast, lots of yummy indulgent things with a glass of Blue Moon Summer Ale for lunch and Mexican food with Dr. Pepper for a late dinner. Oh yeah, I topped it off with 2 late-night scoops of Blue Bell Southern Hospitalty ice cream. I filled out my…
  • I have a Polar F6 and I replaced the battery in the wrist unit myself. When the battery in the chest strap/transmitter went out I had to send it to Polar to get a replacement as mine was still under warranty (the T-31 transmitter does not have the option to replace the battery so the entire unit had to be replaced). Before…
  • 5K races really are a lot of fun. It's natural to feel nervous, scared, unsure of your abilities and like your stomach is filled with butterflies. In fact, my first 5K race was several years ago (and I've run a couple of dozen races since including two 1/2 marathons) and I still get nervous with a stomach full of…
  • If I were you, I would purchase a heart rate monitor to track calories burned. This will be much more accurate than the calculations that MFP can give you. After you complete your workout, go the Strength option under the Exercise tab and enter in ## minutes of strength training and ### calories burned. I can't imagine…
  • When I do an intense ab workout I get the same soreness. My ribs feel bruised for a couple of days (the 2nd day after the workout is always the worst) and then it starts feeling better. I'm not a doctor or a trainer but I really do believe it's the underlying muscles that are sore. As much as I complain about the pain, I…

  • I also use AdvoCare Spark (as well as many of the other products they have to offer) and it really does work. I drink it on my way to work in the morning and I'm good to go....minus the crash and burn I used to get from most other energy drinks. I've tried to be a hot tea and coffee drinker but half way through the cup I…
