  • Thanks for sharing Deb! It's a journey and you're headed in the right direction! I think each phase you complete is such an accomplishment in itself! Can't wait to see how it keeps going for you!
  • sorry about that, good luck to you!
  • thanks for all the responses, I'm just using my body weight, feet on the floor, hands on the bench. Doesn't seem to matter when in my routine I do it.
  • one of the things about pb is it's healthy fats. If you wanted to cut out sugar you can get "natural" peanut butter which is basically just crushed peanuts without the additives and preservatives. It needs to be kept in the fridge and stirred before used, but it's a good alternative! :)
  • awesome success stories! Thanks to those who shared. I'm still working on this area, I'll post some pics after further progress is made.
  • any update?
  • you are going to get so many different pieces of advice, you'll have to take some and leave some. What helped hugely for me was traditional chineese accupuncture. I also drink a herbal tea sometimes (called headache normalized tea). There's also some good aromatherapy out there for headaches. I still get them occasionaly…
  • good luck today! Let us know how it goes!
  • finish my 12 week trainer that I'm working on (on week 2 now) I have a whole box of size 10 or less clothes I can't wait to fit into! not feel the need to suck in my stomach I want to someday run a full marathon I want to have noticeable muscles to the general public ( I hope that makes sense to you!) move the weights up…
  • my husband has one, he LOVES it! he went this route because he had a spinal cord injury 13 years ago and still struggles with mobility/ nerve/ balance issues. His has a power assist so he can use it to aid him or completely do the work if he's fatigued. The store really emphasized the ability to carry/ haul with the basked…
  • it's amazing to see the variability, "heavy" sure means different things to different people. We all have our stronger muscle groups. it's about your effort and reps. Here's some examples of where I'm at: barbell squats 20lbs + bar leg press 50lbs leg extensions 50lbs lying hamstring curls 50lbs standing calves 115lbs…
  • thought you would all like to know that I got a buddy to show me this! It pushes away from you after it's engaged! lol and they just added a bunch of new gym equipment, so nobody can find anything! lol soo funny! I also lost my standing calf raise machine and stretching area :( Today everyone was super chatty, I guess the…
  • I took a picture 2 weeks ago at the end of ripped in 30, I didn't stop working out in the middle either, so it'll be part of the progression. u?
  • I am a corner of the eye watcher, not sure if that makes me more or less creepy! lol I notice, I watch, I fantasize, but I think I'm sneaky! I use our military base gym, so there's tonnes of hot bods in there, I guess this is an advantage to that, and may help me overcome my lack of confidence/ fear of the weight room! lol
  • likely just your body going back to infertility mode. I usually starts of sticky, gets creamy, then slippery and thready (EWCM, fertile) then goes back to creamy, sticky.
  • thanks for the add! I did make the carrot cake and used xylitol instead, they turned out good. I also did the chicken muffins and used a couple different spices, they're pretty good too! Thanks for the friend add!
  • a couple other ones I found surprising was cream of wheat, and black strap molasses. I found iron pills to be super constipating, so you may want to up your fiber or take some metamucil or something if you're going that route. Also try avoiding milk/ dairy within an hour of iron. Good Luck!
  • that upping calories worked and blew me through a plateau! The insane amount of motivation and perserverance I have The ridiculous amount of support hubby has given me that I feel completely changed and different, but very few people around me notice or comment. that I am already stronger than I ever thought possible and…
  • I used to have 2, they are so sweet! I used to wear them in the pouch of my hoodie! Bonding takes time, good luck!
  • this is hilarious! so many I can relate to! MFP is the first thing I open on my computer in the morning and the last thing I close at night. I always want to round up the calories or time on the treadmill/ elliptical so I push myself to 200 instead of 195 or whatever. I don't mind walking to/ from the gym it's a great warm…
  • I'm in (although I'm more likely to be doing this at home! lol) I may work up the nerve to wear one of my tighter fitting or tank tops to the gym soon!
  • is this pre or post ov?
  • thanks for the motivational monday post!
  • I'm kind of transitioning into a clean diet right now. I'm going to be starting Jamie Eason's livefit program from bodybuilding.com, there's tonnes of nutritional info and recipes on eating clean there. My plan is to have 1 or 2 meal prep days, to make "special" food for myself to eat when I'm not making a clean meal for…
  • lmao thanks for that! Now my co-workers are looking at me like I'm psychotic! lol
  • thanks! I needed that reassurance that I was doing the right thing! :)
  • thanks for the reassurance! I'm sure the first month will fly by anyways. I'm already committed to two TRX classes in the first week (on top of the program) so I will get some cardio/ extra strength that first week (next week) so it's only 3 without cardio :) Thanks for the friend add!
