I generally threaten it's life, happiness, and well-being if it doesn't show me a lower number than last time. Also at my house the scale is known as "the crying machine," because stepping on it makes you want to cry.

I like to get the chocolate swirl (or dark chocolate, or chocolate raspberry, they have a lot) pudding cups. They are a lot of mass for only 60-100 cals. But if it has to be candy chocolate, i like to keep dove chocolates somewhere where I can't easily get to them (at work) and then just bring home a couple of pieces at a…

I had a very sever back injury a couple years ago that flares up once it a while. I have to just rest it for a few days until it fills better. Any exercise I do has to NOT effect my back until it feels better or it will make recovery 10 times longer.

Enough leftover chinese food to feed 4 people. Some of it not even heated up.

1. Got some time BY MYSELF today finally! 2. Realized I haven't made a single bad eating choice ALL WEEK. 3. My husband being a good friend to me today.

I don't know how I didn't immediately think of this: When I was in the 7th grade, a friend of mine in complete seriousness told me I should learn how to make myself throw up, so that I could loose a lot of weight. She told me if I just started making myself puke, I could be normal again. Thank god I never took her up on…

I was OBSESSED with wwf/wwe when I was a teenager. Every square inch of my bedroom was a decoupage of Kane and Undertaker pictures. I had all the Kane and Undertaker dolls, a cardboard stand up, wrote fanfic. Seriously, it was boarding unhealthy fixation :) Ah, teenagehood.

After a 80 lbs weight loss, I hovered between 160 and 180 for five years. NOW IT'S BACK  I'm super motivated now though. So join me and we'll burn those calories within an inch of their lives!

I was giving myself the same portions as my husband too. Doesn't really work out when he's 8 inches taller than you and broadly built :(

OMG, she needs to be sternly talked to. And if she keeps saying things like that to your daughter, then maybe she doesn't deserve to see her.

Wow, some of these make me want to cry. What's wrong with people? Mine (both in high school): I had just had surgery, so I couldn't run in PE, but the teacher made me stand there like a goal post. Two of the girls would yell "sloth" at me every time they made a lap. (I had liked professional wrestling at the age of 15,…

My husband is pretty good about congratulating me and offering moral encouragement. But he insists that there be "husband food" (aka CRAP) around all of the time! There are cookies in our living room for him at all times! The best I've been able to figure out so far is to just by the "husband food" I find disgusting, which…

Congratulations, Nikki582! I'm so thankful that my husband is like a foot taller than me and gains weight almost as easily as me. Me weighing more than him would be just one more thing that drives me into the loving arms of cookies.

You must shop are a really expensive grocery store to make eating out cheaper. But the very best guide for chain-restaurants is Eat This Not That. They have a great guide at this website: http://eatthis.menshealth.com/top_swaps/restaurants

If you drink a hot liquid, it's more likely to trick you into thinking that you ate long enough to get to bed. There are a million kinds of tea. And even more convincing: get bullion cubes, and put one in a cup of hot water. Just drink it slowly and tell yourself its chicken noodle soup and that you're getting stuffed.…

Wow, this is such a neat idea! And so many classy, pretty ways you can use a glass vase for it. You could even make it incognito, or put it at the office! I'm going to look into making one this weekend.

Some people support you as long as they feel like you are "trying to get up to their level." Once they see you "surpassing their level," then the claws come out. Some people just feel threatened by the success of others. Luckily there are plenty of people in the world who will support you without conditions.

I really like using hummus instead of dressing. Mixing hummus into a salad tastes great and makes it a lot more filling that any dressing every could. Gives salads a real "meal" quality.

When I kept the weight off for five years, the biggest difference in my own behavior was that I didn't STRESS myself out about diet and exercise. I just made a few little changes every week that I felt comfortable with. I never tried to do everything perfectly, I just tried to start doing one more thing right that week or…

That's a really serious start for only being on the wagon for two weeks! Good job!

Hello! @ChaiDi - For some reason the re-losing is not nearly as exciting for me as the losing was. I'm really going to have to work to stay motivated now that it isn't the first round - which is why I'm looking for a community this time :) @bethhle31 - I thought about trying to to WW@work, but didn't want to learn the…

Hi everyone! I'm Dallas (25/Female/Oregon) So here's the basics: I lost 80 lbs back in 2006 and kept it off until last year. Then... prepare to hear something you've NEVER heard before....I gained most of it back :,,,( So now I'm just looking to get back on track, get back into my nice clothes that mock me from their…
