  • I use Splenda. We switched from sugar to Splenda over a year ago and have never had any issues with it. It is the only sweetener/sugar in our house.
  • I track everything, yes. This way it is precise and I know exactly every calorie, carb, sugar, fat, etc. is accounted for :) I also log on my bad days when I go over. It is a visual for me and shows me what I DON'T want. Kind of a punishment for myself to see how horrible I did that day. Haha :)

  • Have you tried the 100 calorie snacks? I find that it is just the right amount of sweetness that I need. Also, we switched to Splenda last year and ever since, it is hard for me to eat regular sugar or anything really sweet. You can really taste the difference after awhile and your body gets use to saying no.

  • I weighed myself this morning as soon as I had my morning pee. Then I weighed myself again later in the morning, after I had eaten a light breakfast and got to moving around a little. I actually weighed a pound less in the later morning, after breakfast! :)
  • Try Splenda! I lost about 5 pounds just switching from sugar to the Great Value (Wal-Mart brand) of Splenda! Or you can try sweet and low too. There are many options other than sugar now. Good luck!
