It's kind of old school but, I love "Talk Dirty to Me" by Poison. The rhythm is perfect for my stride!

The pressure is on...Let's see...My goal, well I have a wish more so than a goal. Today is weigh in day, my wish for today is to see more than a 6oz drop in weight, that's for today. The goal for the week is to get back some ambition and exercise more frequently than I have been. It's too easy to sit down in the evening…

I'm way behind! My weekly goal...for NEXT week (Jan 28 and on) Is to pick up running after work again. The dark is is so...discouraging. Now that it is staying lighter longer, I hope to start again on Monday! Keep in mind I don't get home from work until after 5pm and by the time I make dinner and clean up...*SIGH*

My turn...Hobbies...I love to run, walk, hike. If it gets me outdoors I usually enjoy it. Camping, reading, I love my back yard, it is my summer sanctuary. I love my job, I'm a Physio assistant in a long term care facility, My residents are a real joy to me! READING! I am a HUGE fan of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series!…

I've tried raising my calories to stimulate weigh loss too, didn't work for me either! I'm a bit confused by the whole concept, but I do know people it has worked for. I guess we'll just have to keep plugging along the old fashioned way!

I rolled out of bed and went to work...does that count?

This sounds fun!

I'd love to go to the ROM! What do you think? OR the zoo? Just suggestions...

Vaughn sounds good, roller coasters...not so much! But I like the idea about Niagara Falls too (Close to home:bigsmile: ) Kinda of far for all the rest of you!

I just checked out Google maps, I'm not sure when Gwen is. But We are spread all over Ontario. This isn't going to be easy to do!

I'm in Dunnville, about 1.5 hrs from Toronto. What ever works, I'll do my best to be there!
-
Sounds about right to me!

Oh! A weekly goal...That is even harder! Ah...My goal for this week. My week starts on Fridays so I'm 3 days in already. To do some form of exercise everyday, whether it is walking, running or *sigh* a date with Jillian Michaels! I hate that woman...

Wow...Let's see...So far May 11th works for me. My son is planning a "reception" to celebrate his wedding this past December. But the date as still tentative. I will get in touch with him to clarify. A goal...I want to run my first 5 k race of the year before that date, and have a date booked for my very first 10 k race…

It sounds like it may be your "I.T." band, it is a muscle that runs along the outer aspect of your thighs from hip to knee. It can be very painful and is usually prevented by proper stretching. Have someone roll a rolling pin along that muscle while you lay on your side while applying firm pressure. This will be painful!…

Just relax and have fun! Do everything you've been doing and all the rest will fall into place. I can guarantee this will not be your last 5k race. The feeling of accomplishment you will get will keep you coming back for more! I finished my first race June 10th with a huge grin on my face! Good luck!

True! My husband had Bells Palsy when he was in his mid 20s and still has issues with his affected eye when he is outdoors or in a dusty environment,

You need to speak to a professional about this. Shoulder injuries are not something you want to play around with. Speak to a Physiotherapist/Physical therapist or if you go back to the gym a professional trainer. They will be able to give you tips on regaining the use of you shoulder as well as an exercise plan. You will…

I would be proud of those jeans too! Way to go!

I've lost an average 2 yr old and a human brain! That explains SO much!

You need to speak to my husband and give him some tips! Great work!

Pre-logging works for me too. It feels like I have made a commitment once I see it in print, especially when it comes to exercise!
-
No advice, since I have never done this. Have fun and listen to your body! Good luck! :flowerforyou:
