  • Outlander is one of my all time favorite series OP it all depends on what kind of books you like. Me, I'm big into fantasy, but I also like murder mysteries with the occasional historical fiction thrown in.
  • I played the beta, but can't get into any games that don't have a campaign mode.

  • We have two cats and as you can see above, they each have their own dog
  • My PS4 gamer tag is thekarens if anyone wants to join me.
  • Bloodborne...patiently waiting for the expansion for Dark Souls 3.
  • Dark Souls 3 and I'm just about done with Bloodborne. DS3 was my intro to the Souls series and I loved it, so I got Bloodborne. Before that I'd have to say it was either Skyrim or Diablo 3.
  • Another Houstonian.
  • I'd disagree that is't for the casual touring cyclist. I also use ridewithgps and I can get distance, elevation, cadence, heart rate, speed....not sure what else you'd need. It won't compare you to anyone else, so if that's what you're interested in then I'd agree that Strava is the way to go. I also like RideWithGPS…
  • I say keep the commuter and still buy the MTB. I've got a roadie a MTB and a cruise around the neighborhood bike. Love them all for different reasons.
  • I wasn't comfortable until I met my wife 16 years ago when I was only 29. She's been my one and only. We did to the U-haul thing and it worked for us, but I wouldn't recommend it for the average person, especially if you're younger and still trying to figure out what you want in life. We had both been married to men before…
  • Everyone here has given great advice. My only advice is to take it one day at a time and don't be hard on yourself. If you "fall off the wagon" don't give up, realize you can get back on and start over. I also agree with small goals so things don't seem so overwhelming. If walking truly is too painful I'd recommend water…
  • They walk slowly hunched over (at least mine do) until you try to get them to go back in their cage and then they run like the devil :) What colors are yours? I'm thinking about getting a cobalt and green this year some time.
  • I have a cremino hen, Buttercup, and a turquoise male, Pippin. They are both very sweet and don't bite, but prefer playing by themselves on the play gym than spending time with me. I'm considering getting a couple more later in the year. They are a lot of fun to watch.
  • We have 1 senegal parrot named Sammie (she's my baby) two lineolated parakeets named Buttercup and Pippin and 10 finches. I'm considering adding an indian ringneck to the flock. We lost our grey a couple years ago. He was only 13, so it was hard and took awhile before we wanted another bird. Oh, and we also have 2 cats and…
  • Flats with spikes like crankbrothers or straitlines and a good pair of Five Tens or Tevas. I love my clipless on my road bike, but it's flats all the way for the MTB. You do have to be careful of shinburger though! :)
  • That's a perfectly good bike. The components are good. If you ride it and like it you should buy it as long as it works for the type of riding you do. I started out on a hard tail and two months later bought a FS, which I love. I got a Jamis because I could get more bang for my buck with it. I could care less what anyone…
  • If you feel like you need to work on some issues you should see a counselor. They can help you work through stuff. You can't make your partner change, you can only change yourself. A good counselor can help you work through your issues.
  • That's easy enough, as long as weather allows, train outside instead of in spin class :)
  • Have you ridden the new bike? The proof is in the pudding as they say. I personally love steel. I have a Jamis Quest. My partner prefers carbon and I do know some people who prefer alloy/aluminum, so get on the new bike and give it a long test ride to see which you prefer. What you prefer is all that counts, doesn't matter…
  • Congrats on the new bike! I wanted the same thing out of a bike and ended up with the men's Jamis Quest. I've also got a Jamis mountain bike and an Electra hybrid.
  • I love MTBing, though there are no mountains here in Houston. My riding is pretty much XC.
  • You know your terrain better. For me I know I could easily lose it with no problem where we ride, but if it's something that you regularly use then I'd keep it. I also have a compact double on my road bike and in no way need a triple....but again, I live in Houston where there aren't any hills, unless you count over passes.
  • How often do you use the 3rd ring? I have 3 rings myself and I rarely use more than one, so if I wanted to do it I can't see where it'd be a problem? Are you wanting to put a bash guard on the 3rd ring?
  • Congrats on the new bike. I'm late to the party, but I would have suggested a full-suspension since that's what I have :) Or if it was in the budget a 650 full sus. On the flip side I'm getting my son a 29 hard-tail because I can get a used one at a decent price.
  • I use the Zobie run C25K and play an audio book in the background. It works for me.
  • I'm doing it, but I'm using the Zombies Run C25K. I tried it last year and it was just too much for me. I've since lost 60lbs and am a lot more fit and I'm finding it easier, but not easy. I still have to really work at it. I'm not a natural runner.

  • I just did week 3 day one last night and I have to admit for me I have a harder time when I don't have at least a couple days inbetween. If I have even a week off I do better. I guess because I'm fresh. I'm still exercising inbetween, but not "running."
  • I'm on week 3 of this app. I like it because I find it more interesting than the other C25K, but I do wonder about their schedule. Seemed to me that there are big jumps instead of gradually building you up, but I'm only on week three. My opinion may change in time.
