Original starting weight -209.6 May starting weight -206.4 May goal - 200 Ultimate goal - 160 May 1st - 206.4 May 8th - 201.8 (!!!) May 15th - May 22nd - May 29th - Feeling good so far! Down 4.6 lbs just by making healthier choices and hitting the gym 2-3x a week (and walking for 30 mins on days I don't go). Not too…

I've only just restarted this journey a week or two ago (I lost 40lbs several years ago and gained it all back plus 10lbs), so I haven't had much in the way of results yet, but this morning I looked in the mirror and for the first time in a long time I felt OK with myself. It was a great feeling!

OMG I love Minimalist Baker! Have you tried Love and Lemons?

Thanks for the tip!

I think we'll eventually make the move to cut cheese weekly at some point--cutting the meat was a lot easier than we'd thought.
-
I thought maybe I was the only one!!!

We're definitely still doing dairy and eggs! I think I could probably get rid of eggs and be ok but cheese would be hard for me. I don't actually skip breakfast, I just haven't planned on what I'm doing next week. :-) It's looking like it's going to get warm again (finally) so I may do smoothies. This week we had an…

That's what our week's worth of meals looks like for next week. Planning ahead helps a lot.

I'm super jealous! I grow my own herbs and I think I may try my hand at tomatoes this year... but we rent so I can't put anything in the ground. Pots only.

We started a few weeks ago and I honest to goodness can feel the difference throughout the week. It's trial and error, so find what works for you that makes it sustainable for now. Right now, we're not cutting out dairy or eggs, but that's what works for us. We've certainly had less of them! I've made a lot of veggie…

I'm starting next week to prep for a 5k in May. I used to run 5 and 10k portions as part of a team triathlon, but lapsed years ago due to knee pain and haven't been able to find my mojo since. I miss it. Hopefully will get back into the groove.

Wow... just did 30DS for the first time and I pretty much felt like dying towards the end. Sadly had to modify a few things as I live in a flat where noise carries and the guy downstairs started banging on the ceiling after the first set of butt kicks. Bit annoying but I think if I add in some arm movement/bigger moves…

I'm starting today - so not too far off!

I've had the same problem as you off and on for the last two years, which of course has had a massive effect on my weight (hello, yo-yo!). For me, different things work for different times or situations. Exercise or yoga helps, reading a good book, bubble bath, writing (artistic stuff in general) and cooking.

I love this idea... I've never tried sweet potatoes with pb and cinnamon... but I have a feeling I will be soon! :-)

Nothing better than a crock pot! We use the crockpot recipes on Skinnytaste a lot.
-
Ooooh nice! I love a good soup in the winter!

I've been on it for over a year now, previously on a different pill which was way worse for water retention. Cerazette hasn't caused me to gain weight but has made it harder to lose weight (not to mention it's given me mood swings sometimes like whoah!). All in all, it's a decent trade-off for not having a period, but you…

I'm an Amercan transplanted in London but I still plan on celebrating. I've taken the day off work but I plan on crockpotting the turkey crown (it's just me and the hubby so we don't need a full turkey) and using that time to hit the gym/go for a run/run errands. After that, I'm letting myself relax for the day. I won't…

Definitely will check this out when I get in from work later. :-)

Definitely!!!! Nothing like a bit of Girl Talk in the gym. Can't decide if I like All Day or Feed the Animals more!
-
We're similar sizes with the same goal! I started as a UK18 and am now between a 12 and 14 (depending on brand etc) and want to wind up as an 8. :-)

I'm in the Tooting Bec area :-)
-
Clarins - Eau des Jardins. It's fresh, fruity with a bit of a floral scent... best of all, it's totally reasonably priced!

Congrats!!! I'm running 10k tomorrow as part of a team triathlon event... I'm so scared! It's my first race ever! I managed 71 minutes on my final practice run Thursday night, so well happy with that considering three months ago I couldn't run for 10 minutes!

My motivation started off as being purely superficial... My hubby and I have been married nearly 4 years now and we're just now getting around to having our honeymoon. We booked the trip back in January--a two week stay on a lovely, gorgeous island with nothing to do but lay around on the (top optional!!!!) beach. I was…

I'm in! Will crack on when I get home. :-)
