in britain, people dont dare make those kind of comments. anywho, i have a fave check out lad i always go to, he is so polite and funny.

thankyou so much ladies i am weighing food, and using my usa cup measuring cups for veggies etc. im REALLY struggling to have cereal breakfasts as it gives me heartburn no matter what, so will carry on doing other stuff to.
-
thankyou for your reply, your diary looks yummy (love M&S!) i was trying to eat upto the levels of 1800 or so cals and just couldnt do it. ive planned my day today apart from what i work off in the gym and i feel more comfortable eating like that. i will carry on this way and see how i go i suppose...x
-
how long have you been going at it for? great loss by the way!
-
not since week 1. ive lowered my cals in mfp down to 1550... i honestly think i need to do this whilst still in the obese category and i was forcing myself to eat the 1800 or so he told me to eat. i just couldnt get it all in and was having to top up with extra nuts and stuff which made my fats high.
-
the thing is no other dairy causes it, and i dont get it any other time of the day... so surely not lactose? its really strange...!!!

ive already bought my goal skirt. its a river island long length pencil skirt, almost a tube skirt in a uk 14. i will be happy at a 12-14. hey if i can fit into topshop, im happy.
-
massively dissapointed as my scale isnt moving, i took helloitsdan's advice a couple weeks ago and upped my cals but ive stuck since. think im going to drop back down to 1550. which is roughly my bmr.
-
amazing!!! u can really see the tummy difference from the side!!
-
happened again this morning. its agonising!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
thankyou for this ^^^ eating below BMR will lower your metabolism and also will mean you catabolize more lean mass. muscle burns more calories at rest than fat does, therefore you want to lose as little of this lean mass as possible, the way to do that is to eat enough. never go below your BMR. ever.

im not in a financial position to pay for a trainer sadly.

thanks guys ive looked at the new rules, but i use a kindle and the reviews say its not great on there? im happy to buy it if its ok on the kindle! i use a blackberry, so no lovely apps sadly... there are fitness coaches, i may well ask one.... im worried they might not know what i need to know...they seem to advocate the…

i eat back up to net BMR.... i assumed this was correct according to helloitsdan who ran my numbers and i double checked them online. i multiplied by 1.55 as i work out 5-6 times a week for 30 mins (avg cal burn is 300)
-
right, DO NOT USE HARRIS BENEDICT. ITS INACCURATE, go work out your lean body mass, use the katch mcardle bmr calculator to calculate your bmr under NO circumstances should you eat below this level. mine is 1622, my TDEE (Bmr plus activity level multiplication) is 2515. this takes into account my work outs, as such i set…

1200 cals is far too low!!
-
my husband eats them as a snack, i thought they were horrible. i dont really like biscuits/cookies anyway.

dude? shaving your armpit? not cool. the moment this morning when i stretched and felt my ribs.

ive had mine for about 3 years now, perfectly fine, never have any issues. it wont reject as its an implant not a piercing. its no different to having a metal plate somewhere.
-
i have a dermal anchor in my wrist... my ears pierced (i did stretch when at uni) belly button pierced at the lower naval :)
-
essentially this.
-
if you arent getting your heart rate up high, breathing heavy, sweating, you wont be burning alot. im significantly overweight and i burn approx 240 cals in half an hour in the gym doing cardio and weights.
-
exactly ^ what matt said, you could well have lost visceral fat which is the fat which surrounds your organs, like the below photo
-
the NHS also rarely get anyone out of hospital without them contracting a hospital super bug. think i will take their advice with a pinch of salt at ALL times thankyou!
-
i have reset my macros on mfp, i aim for about 150-200g carbs, 30-50g fat and 100-120g protein per day as my lean mass is 122lbs. its my understanding that a well balanced diet should look like this half veg/fruits, small serving healthy fats/dairy, quarter protein, rest as healthy whole grain high fibre carbs.
-
go do 2 extra workouts, to even it up! dont beat yourself up about it x
-
you can buy cartons of egg whites in sainsburys in the uk FYI :)
-
its the building block of life hun, its what your muscles (inc heart and organs) and other tissues are composed of. it keeps you full for longer, gives steady energy and is just super good for you. :)

wearing heels to make you look thinner is a) a pretty loaded assumption that she needs to (she doesnt) and b) a pretty crappy reason to wear something which damages your feet. flats are cute, kitten heels are cute, no one needs to wear these ludicrous shoes that are so in fashion, they will destroy your feet and ankles.
