I definitely believe this is probably the case. the bruising is located on my outer arm & bicep. I have one arm that is weaker than the other and pushed out one too many reps before that particular arm was ready.

Aldi's has gluten-free cookie mix, baking mix, brownie mix, muffin mix... all types of things. I cannot use all of their gluten-free items because my son has anaphylaxis to other ingredients in them, but have used Cherrybrook Farms cookie mix.

Unfortunately I think it was more of a 'pushed myself through a rep too many'. Everything online generally says heat, ice and anti-inflammatory is all unless it is bad enough needing surgery. I think/hope it will heal... its day 4.5 of after-rest and the bruising is almost faded gone. Afraid to risk it.

I do carry him and lift him often (he is 50lbs), and have carried him his entire life. I owe a lot of my forced strength to him. ;P I am 157-158 and 5'9. I have a body fat percentage of about 27 I think last time I checked.

i will throw up if i eat pre-workout. I work out in the evenings, and drink an amino acid complex drink before-hand, but usually eat dinner right after lifting.

have you tried using dumbell lunges instead of barbell if the bar is too heavy? Builld up to it.

Bump... I am almost exactly where you are! I was 133 last year, and had gained 30lbs. I am currently 157 with a goal of 135 (5'9).

I actually didn't know there was a name for this? I have just recently begun lifting, and this is how I have been doing it. Bench press set 1, Curls Set 1, Shoulder raises set 1, Shrugs set 1, squats set 1, Deadlifts set 1... Rest for 2-3 minutes and then do two more sets in this same order.. Now I am curious how others…

so fit all 1200 or whatever calories into the remaining 8 hours? Is that where your body tries to metabolize it all after not recieving fuel, therefore making your metabolism speed up?

What type of weight lifting do you do? I am a single mom work full time desk job, and have absolutely no way to excercise except at home. (My son has alot of auto immune issues and he is too big for a jogging stroller.)

try paleo recipes... packed full of vegetables and other different meats... the rule of thumb would be if a caveman could eat it, then its good to go. i made single serve ground turkey meat loaves 2 weeks ago that were AMAZING... and paleo... no egg, no dairy, only meat and veggies.

I actually had that happen to me, I did not lift while loosing most of my weight I wanted to, and in turn I lost muscle mass because I was not strength training/lifting.. and it is much harder to rebuild muscle than it is to lose it.
