Good information here about the fitbit. Bumping so I can check my numbers.

When you've accepted that the bathroom scale is the devil but it doesn't ruin your day if the number isn't what you were hoping for.

You look amazing! Great job!!

I picked this one up from my Aunt - when I'm on the baking ailse at the grocery store, I steer my cart over to the shelves with the cake mix, find the boxes of pineapple upside down cake mix and turn them all upside down. I don't realize I'm doing it anymore and I never buy the cake mix (don't care for pineapples).

I pick apart my food, too - especially pizza. The pepperoni comes off, then the cheese is cooled off, so the cheese is next. The bare crust is last. :blushing:

When my mother in law takes food off of somone's plate in a restaurant without asking, saying "I don't like (whatever food she's taking from the plate) but I need a bite to make sure I still don't like it." Two footed drivers in an automatic transmission. I can see your brake lights, yet you're still accelerating. (Hmmm,…

Thank you, your timing was perfect - this really saved my day (and my week, my month, my year...)

I saw a guy with a newspaper spread out, holding it with both hands, blocking the windshield. I guess he glanced up over the top of the paper now and then to check the road.... :noway:

Thank you so much for putting these together. I've watched one so far (have to be sneaky at work) and your message was perfect. Can't wait to watch the rest.

The fat passes out of your body, so you may have bowel changes, known as treatment effects. Bowel changes. Notice how they phrase that? It means stuff will be happening the likes of which you could never have imagined. It’ll be like a daily Dean Koontz novel inside your underwear. :noway: Can't....stop...laughing...

Hi! I’m Diane and I joined MFP in January 2012. In the past I’ve done Weight Watchers, Lean For Life, Low Carb… and none of those plans were something I could stick with. On MFP I lost 10 pounds in just over a month and then got miserably sick. And I was hungry, getting hungrier every day no matter how much I moved or…

The peanut diet. A lady I worked with a while back said she could eat basically anything as long as she was chowing down some peanuts all day. She didn't stop eating peanuts ever and would answer her phone while chewing a mouthful of peanuts or go to meetings with her jar of peanuts and keep munching through the meeting.

When I was a teenager, I competed in memory contests - memorizing passages from books and reciting them on stage in front of judges and large crowds. I won the contest 3 years in a row and after the last win, they gave me a "lifetime" award and asked nicely that I not compete again because no one else wanted to compete…

Thank you, I needed to hear this today. I've been a little frustrated at my lack of progress but I'm making positive changes that I can maintain for the long term instead of going for instant gratification and a rebound down the road.

You learn to fly but can't seem to control the altitude very well, flying way too high and you get sucked through a jet engine and your grisly death is posted on youtube by one of the passengers. I wish I had a one storey house.

I recently bought a fitbit and it suggests trying to reach 10,000 steps per day. I have a desk job, so I try to walk on my breaks and take the long way back to my desk when I'm up and about but I still have a lot of walking to do to reach 10,000 steps in a day. (I get an average of 5,000 steps so far just with walking on…

I've been wondering about this, too. I have about 70 pounds to lose and I was stalled for about 4 weeks but after increasing my calories I've started to lose again (slowly). I'm a newbie to exercise and I'm working toward making myself stronger so I can do more and have more energy.
