  • Had a good week this week. Did my first 5K it took me 46 minutes. Mon 4 walk Tue 3.1 walk/jog Thur 1.7 walk 1 hr pilates Fri 1.6 walk 30 min step 30 min toning Sat 3.1 walk/jog (5K) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 13.5 miles
  • Haven't done well last two weeks between kids confrences at their schools. Both this week and last week I did 6 miles each. This week should be better. Between my normal workouts and my 1st 5K.

  • I find Zumba a lot of fun and lose track of the time. I only go once a week though.
  • My breaking point was when I realized I hate looking at myself in mirrors and pictures. When I went back to visit my family in all the photos I was the fattest person. My husband left on deployment and I wanted him to come back to a person who doesn't mind getting naked and I wanted to be happy with my body image.

  • I read and ignore everyone around me. Also try fruit, the sweetness usually helps. Also skinny cow has some great bar things that are about 100 cal less than a candy bar but just as sweet.

  • I have been buying frozen chicken tenderloins. I season it with some mccormick seasoning place it in a foil linned pan,and then broil it on low with it in middle of oven for 15 min flip it broil it on low for another 10 min then turn it on high for 5 mins.

But I also have my own personal photos I have started taking of myself and they are motivation. When I compare what I look like now compared to day 1 it helps me keep on track and not get discouraged…
