I'm here. :) Feel free to add me. We can do this!

I started using MFP again after having my daughter. She's 11 months old now so I'm not technically a "new mom" but new enough. :) Any of you ladies are welcome to add me. I love adding to our circle of support!

You can add me. Mine is open and am always wanting to add to my circle of support.

Yes... what she said
-
You can add me. :) We can all do this with each other's help!

I can come up with some that I use a lot and message them to you. :) Olive oil or other healthy oils are key for me. Seems to "lube up" things. Haha!

I was also diagnosed with IBS about 10 years ago after I had part of my intestines removed. Through trial and error, I've found that the best for me is to stick to lots of vegetables full of fiber and and using olive oil for my fat. Every time I would eat steak... UGH... not good. I also found that the more bread I ate the…

I also have a "ladies only" policy. I have 30 pounds to lose and could use all the support I can get. Any of you ladies are welcome to add me. We can do this!!!

I agree. Don't sweat the small stuff. People matter more than a routine. Enjoy your time with your husband. He WANTS to spend time with you. It's a good thing!

I just recently changed mine to 40% protein 30% carbs and 30% fat. This is the most doable for me. I tried the 40/40/20 and I found that I kept exceeding my fat goal due to eating nuts and healthy fats.

I'm someone that LOVES cardio exercise, however, I've always seem much better results from strength training. If your goal is overall health, I recommend being consistent with both because cardio exercise strengthens the heart. Overall wellness requires both cardio and strength training.

I'm totally going to do this. I actually saw the tv version the other day. Great idea!

I'm 5'9'' and my goal weight is 150. I have a medium frame. I was once down to 138 and was constantly told that I needed to gain some weight. I'll be happy between 145 and 150.

I soooooo need this glass!

Great advice Min!

I'm 5'9'' and my goal weight is 150. I could go down to 140... maybe. Absolutely nothing lighter than that.

I work out with a combination of cardio and strength training. All of my working out is at home and I do best at night or first thing in the morning. (where I can take a shower afterwards). Some people have a schedule of when they do what, but I don't. I have an elliptical machine that I use roughly 3 times per week. I…

I've never considered this concept before. My BMR is 1532. I should be subtracting 63.8 calories if I do an hour of cardio exercise. This makes me feel better knowing that I never eat enough calories back.
-
I personally have a really hard time eating my calories back when I've exercised hard. You have to eat a whole lot of the right stuff in order to eat that many calories. I refuse to eat junk just to eat back calories. I just eat the healthier stuff until I can't eat anymore.
-
That's kind of what I was thinking. I just changed mine this morning and I'm wondering how in the world I'm going to be able to eat that much protein without going over on my fat and sodium. It will take a lot of trial and error to really figure it out.

I agree. Be active about your own health and well being, or shut up about it.
-
That's awesome!
-
Too funny! That would be my luck too!
-
I was raised in an independent fundamental baptist church and didn't wear pants for 12 years of my life!
-
I would try to get a good work out in, drink lots of water, and eat a light and healthy dinner.
-
I agree. She obviously doesn't truly want the help.
-
Just sent you a request! Good luck. You can do this!
-
I've heard of the heart rate monitor but I haven't looked for one yet. Can you pretty much get them anywhere?

Great dedication!
