I started it once before with some co-workers and it kicked my butt. I used to work out pretty extensively, but since the birth of my daughter I've gotten out of shape. I am going to try it, but I heard the slim in 6 is pretty good and their Insanity program is good. P90x is pretty extreme so I am gonna try to keep up.

Hi Holly, I am also a single mom from Detroit area and in the same boat. Just took dad to court for child support and Wayne county is a joke. But anywho, I find it hard to stay motivated and keep at it with my workouts with so much other stuff going on. Lets keep each other motivated :-) Good Luck

oh sorry. I was having soup today I bought from Wal-mart and while entering the calories on mfp I noticed that on the bottom of the label it says "based on a 2000 calorie diet". I guess I was wondering if the label was really accurate or not. It's probably not that big of a deal - just wondering. Thanks
-
How do you accurately count calories when it says based on a 2000 calorie intake diet? I am not sure if the value of calories per serving changes, but I am on a 1200 calorie diet with extra through exercise and I just wondered and I accurately counting. thanks a lot

I agree - Eating out kills my diet. I was just logging my calories and the Denny's French Toast Slam is 1168 calories :-( Luckily I didn't eat all of it (only half) There should be a law against a meal that is 1100 calories all by itself. sheeze

you look great. I just posted my before pics - hopefully I will be down before my trip to Jamaica  Keep up the good work!

Good luck - this site has really helped me stay on track and be accountable for what I eat and working out. I wish you well.

Awesome, I understand those obstacles. Seems like every time I get on a good roll life intervenes. Keep up the good work and stick to it.

The scale is evil  - I go for once a week, but I try to keep track of my measurements more so because the scale can be deceiving.

Good for you! I've had a long week already and its only hump day

Hello again, I have been doing resistance (weight training) three times a week and cardio for 45 minutes 5 times a week - should i be focusing more on cardio to lose weight or weights? :ohwell:
-
Make sure you get your proper nutrients. I was dieting while weaning and I suffered a few deficiencies from not eating properly causing joint problems. As soon as I started taking vitamins again and eating right I felt much better. Keep taking your vitamins and eat healthy filling choices and you should be fine.
