  • Second time a charm?!?
  • Well fark! Can't seem to get the picture to post... See the AVI <---
  • Pros: Maintain sanity Enjoy what you have been missing Cons: Can overindulge...ruin a week's worth of work Leads to more cravings in the long run
  • These calculators are simply estimations. If you ate at 2000 calories and did not gain, then you were at true maintenance.
  • You need a minimum of 1g protein per pound of body weight. MFP grossly underestimates protein requirements in trained individuals. 0.45g fat per # BW and the rest from carbs...
  • Chocolate milk, whole milk. Know that shakes are not necessary. Solid food works well also, simply focus on getting a good amount of protein with a bit of carbs to get your insulin spiked in order for your muscles to receive the nutrients you are providing.
  • Honestly, you simply have to make yourself do it. Progress is often derailed because people think they can work hard and be ''perfect'' only 5 days a week and do whatever on the weekend; you can undo 5 days of work in a single day. The key is being consistent.
  • My SO is 13 years older and not a single damn is given. I think age difference is mostly a taboo deal when we are in school...I know we've all thought the senior dating a freshman was just odd. As we get older I don't think age is as big of a deal. I like to joke with my BF when he tells a story and references his age or…
  • Women often underestimate their maintenance. Most of us of average height and build (5'6 and 150 for example) should maintain on anywhere between 1800 and 2100. My current maintenance is 2500; desk job + 5 days lifting and 7 days of 50 minutes cardio (only during contest prep). When we increase calories up to or above…
  • Mine aren't weird.... Oats + egg whites + cinnamon Or....my fave..... Oats + peanut butter + mayhaw jelly
  • I'm still 25, have been for 3 years and counting ;)
  • Usually a loss of period when low calorie dieting is because dietary fats get too low. You need your EFAs so don't skimp on them. Fat doesn't make you fat. Shoot for 0.45g of fat per pound of body weight. But to be honest, no one should be eating only 1200 calories a day. Most of us should be able to lose easily at 1600…
  • Time to feed the troll.... Who pissed in your cookie jar? Crossfit and Paleo are what works for her. Clearly she has gotten far superior results doing these two things than what she was doing in the past. To be honest, you are an idiot if you continue to do something that clearly is not working yet expecting a different…
  • Honestly it does not look like you are eating very much. I would try to avoid eating less than 1600 calories a day. At your stats you should easily be able to lose at 1700 calories or more. If you are not already, weigh and measure everything. And when in doubt, weigh, as measuring spoons and cups can be quite off. You…
  • Some people want to believe that it is impossible to lose weight because they do not want to face the reality that they must change in order to be successful. Looks like you have done excellent. Keep after it!
  • How many calories a day are you consuming? I find some people are mislead by the exercise calories being added toward their daily target, are you eating back your calories burned? A good starting point for weight loss for someone of your stats is 1600 to 1800 calories.
