  • I know I was MIA during the last challenge but I had to take some time for me. My weight loss will have to be put on hold till the spring as I found out I was pregnant. It was a shock...a good one but still a surprise. But I love doing these challenges with everyone so this isn't going to stop me. My goals for this…
  • New challenge is up. Sorry my sinuses have been kicking my butt this week and I have been getting home and passing out before I get a chance to set up the next challenge. Im working on it today at work so it is up, invites sent shortly and spreadsheet will be done before 5pm today. Its a slow day at work so Im using my…
  • I agree a new challenge is needed. I fell off the wagon again this challenge as life threw me a huge curve ball. I am game for the next few challenges just to stay in the swing of things but my weight loss has been put on hold for a little bit. I found out I was pregnant and needed some time to evaluate everything and just…
  • My goals for this challenge are simple 1. Get back into logging everything I eat 2. Start exercising again now that its cooler weather. I was way to lazy this summer 3. Drop the 10lbs I regained this year and get back to where I started the year at
  • This is open to anyone who wants to join. Its an on going group that is always open to new and old faces. I just sent out the invites to everyone in the labor day challenge so hopefully most of them will be coming back. The spreadsheet will be up by tomorrow night. I love these challenges and they have helped me so much.
  • Thank you all. My aunts surgery has been canceled and she was moved to a different hospital and now was told she needs a heart transplant. We will find out this wednesday if she is even a candidate so please if you can send positive thoughts her way. I don't want to think about what will happen if they decide she isn't.…
  • I need to focus this week and be really good because this weekend I know will be hard on me. Saturday night is my best friends bachelorette party and I have to be up at 6am sunday morning to catch a train into NYC for a 5k across the Brooklyn bridge. This is what I get for planning things and not looking at my calendar to…
  • Congrats Stephanie on completing the triathlon.
  • My way of being mindful of how I was eating was when I first started I ate everything I normally would and logged it not caring if I went over. I did this for a few weeks and it was shocking how quickly things added up. Which was insane and helped put me in the mindset to watch what I ate and portion sizes. Portions were…
  • Don't be to frustrated. That can happen for a number of reasons but it will come off. Todays goals: 1. drink 10 glasses of water 2. go for a walk (its to hot for a run) 3. get caught up on laundry
  • You actually posted yours first. I started mine while I was at work and got side tracked. Then finished it a while later and clicked post without checking to see if someone started one in the meantime.
  • Those are always the best days. Way to go and enjoy your trip
  • Its posted and hopefully I got all the settings for editing correct on the first try. If not let me know and I will fix it.
  • It will be posted later tonight when I get home. I actually made it when I created the group and didnt post it since I figured there would be a few stragglers posting the final numbers from the last one. I didnt even realize till last night that never posted it or even moved it to my google docs! *shakes head* So I cant…
  • My main goal for this challenge is to get back on track. Log everything and get back to my weight from the start of last challenge. I slacked off so bad but somehow still managed to keep my streak on here. I cant believe this weekend I will hit 500 days of logging! So another goal is to keep my logging streak going.
  • Someone starts a thread usually everyday for people to post there daily goals. You are always welcome to post on any day or if no one has started one for that day feel free to create one. I find posting the small daily goals helps me hit my challenge goals and long term goals easier since its just baby steps.
  • I need to start getting my butt in gear for my next 5k that's a month away. Normally I hate running in the summer since the heat and humidity will get to me but I didn't want to pass up on this one. Its has you running across the Brooklyn Bridge. Starting on the Manhattan side and ending in Brooklyn. So restarting C25k to…
  • Happy anniversary  My main goal for today was get on here and post my goals but its a bit late now and I missed most of them  Tomorrow's a new day
  • If you are still having issues you can message me your weights and I will add them for you. Im up overall as well this challenge and using it as motivation to get back on track for the next challenge.
  • So we have been using the "Something to Celebrate" challenge names since last labor day apparently. I went to create the new group and it told me there was already a group with that name...lol. So I added the year and we are good to go. Here is the link to the new challenge in case you dont get an invite. Feel free…
  • I have been bad at posting this time around but Im still in. I have been maintaining.
  • I wish I could join in. I just had dental work done so no exercise for me for a few days. As is I know mfp wont like my diary for today. I think I will be lucky to hit 500 calories. Not that I don't want to eat more that I cant
  • I added a time column and finally posted the spreadsheet that I didnt realize hadn't been the other day. So we will try with both a total amount of time spent working out and a total miles column. :) Please let me know if any of the formulas arent working on there or if anyone has any issues with it.
  • Invites are all sent (I think I got everyone) and the link is posted above if I didn't. Please feel free to share the link if you have any friends that might be interested. Its always fun to meet new people
  • My goals for this challenge is to not fall back into my old habits which I see myself slowly starting to do. So I for this 1. log everything! Just because I don't log it doesn't mean it doesn't count 2. cut back on my junk food 3. actually make my protein goals 4. run or walk at least 10 miles a week 5. lose 7 pounds
  • Im glad your going to stick around. I understand the too many challenges though. I began to join to many at one point and it was just to much. I just do this and one other now as well.
  • Invites will be sent out shortly but here is the link to the next group. But to be on the safe side I like posting the link as well. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/106271-something-to-celebrate-4th-of-july-challenge
  • Ive been slacking the last week. I need to really refocus and commit. Sunday since it was so nice I got in a two mile walk while I was waiting on the washer in the laundromat I got in a 2 mile walk.
  • I always would lose them if they just went in my pocket. I like the zip since its small and clips right to my bra strap. If I lose it I usually just need to find the bra or tank top I wore yesterday. Plus the battery last about 6 months so I don't need to worry about charging it.
  • Janelle - hope you find it quickly. I know how annoying that is when you misplace it. My goals for today 1. no late night snacking 2. get in my normal 3 walks at the rescue 3. enjoy the weather
