Google Dr Michael Moseley Blood Sugar Diet - it is reputedly good for bringing type 2 diabetes under control and fast fat loss. I am 4 weeks in and feel great - and 16lb lighter

Excellent, well done :) I don't know if there is anything you need to be careful of because of your treatment - apart from avoiding high oestrogen foods perhaps? I suggest you make friends here on myfitnesspal, eat healthily and log it, log it, log it - even if it's 'bad' food, it just helps to keep track of what you are…

Well done, yes it's a big difference. I too have lost about that and the difference I see is in my face - my clothes are also smaller but I SEE the difference in my face :)

Some tasks like gardening are in the database - do a search where you enter 'excercise - Cardovascular It might come up I add things that are 'unusual' in my routine - like digging the garden for a couple of hours or when I give the chickens a mega cleanout Good luck on your journey and welcome :) Feel free to 'add' me if…

I am 5 weeks in to 5:2 and am finding it fits in well with my life and I feel really well on it. My weight had gone up a bit between november and Christmas due to an operation and me thinking 'what the heck' I have used this to boost my weight loss and motivation - successfully I have lost the 7 lbs I had gained and am on…

I am in the same situation, my scales broke, I bought new ones - they can read totally different (up to a stone's difference) where ever I put them - and that is stepping on, straight off and back on again It is very frustrating especially as i am trying very hard - and don't belive the mirror (and forgot to measure myself)

A couple of teaspoons of Chia seeds to whatever you normally have for breakfast (they are tasteless) will help keep you feeling fuller for longer and they are full of omega 3 goodness Porridge is a breakfast made from oats and water (sometimes milk) cooked for 5 minutes ish (unless done the origional sottish way which was…

I am on day 3 of my 5:2 - which for me is the 2 day of 'fasting' It is very early days, too early to tell if it'll make me feel better, or whether it suits me or my lifestyle but I'm doing OK so far

Congratulations, well done

I am having some health isuues at the moment, I have a tumour in a saliva gland (don't know yet if it benign or not) - I have been asked if my weight loss is because of cancer, rather than sheer hard work!! I am determined that I DON'T have cancer and have worked hard for each lb :) I think people just don't notice the…

Frustrating isn't it? I decided early on in this journey to only log whole pound losses - boy was that a mistake last week I lost almost a whole pound but not quite so it looks like no loss - hopefully to be made up this week I think that sometimes your body needs to adjust itself - you can't lose lots for extended periods…

I can see where this poster is coming from but would find it hard to actually trash stuff, though thinking about it - maybe I could 'trip' and things go in the bin?
