Totally not sure if I did this right but this is my happy place. With views straight across to the Brecons when it’s daylight lol. Whack a bit of Linkin Park through the eardrums and SQUUUAAAAAAT! Also have a landmine which is epic. No people, I can swear the bar back up if I have to and the plates are always re-racked lol

I’m not a fan of machines, mainly because I can’t fit them in my garage gym... I don’t do well working out in public, silly social anxiety gets me worked up instead of out lol. I’ve just started a yoga program to make sure my balance is good before going back to lifting with plates on the bar, aiming to be back at it in a…

Oh... kitten? My bad. No swears allowed.

I know how you feel, I’m currently bare barred following a relapse of brain stem migraines which do all sorts of hinky *kitten* to my balance. Not great when you average 15 a month, I could do without a concussion as well as everything else lol. Neuro and husband both said to put the bar down for a couple of months and I’m…

Have you upped your mileage significantly? I've found that just running 4 days instead of 3 this week has made my shins scream at me after having no issues for a month! It could be the new shoes, try alternating between your old and new set to see if that helps at all. Are you road or dreadmill running?

Its not vanity at all! Of course you worry about weight gain, after putting all this work in who wouldn't be! I've had 2 babies and can honestly say that my overall shape has changed for the better. Yes its hard to lose baby weight but it is do-able. Being in shape before pregnancy makes it easier and not inhaling the…

Yup.

I haven't weighed my food since me and me kitchen scale had a disagreement over what an ounce of grated cheese looked like. I can't say that eye balling works for everyone but so far I'm ok. I got way too obsessed with the numbers and trying to make everything fit, took the joy out of mealtimes and turned me into a psycho…

I was an absolute non-runner. Tried to get into it a few times and failed miserably due to shin splints and bursitis. I'd always get that pang of jealousy whenever I saw runners on the street and so I decided to make one last ditch effort. Even signed up for a 10k to force me to stick to the plan! Got fitted for decent…

I'm yet to find a problem that can't be solved with peanut butter and a spoon

I didnt know I was a stomper until I forgot my earbuds. After 5 minutes of WTF??!! I figured out the noise was me.... OH THE SHAME! Eventually went from a heel to mid-foot striker. No more hippo!

I run like the winded. I've been 'running' for a little over a month now after my husband said there was "no fricken way" I could ever run 10k.... Yeah, I fell for that little nugget of reversed psychology and signed up for a 10k.... smart move, right?

Ugh, my husbands eyes glaze over at the mere mention of macros... Feel free to add me, people! My friend list has gotten way too quiet!

90 minutes Monday to Friday. Cross trainer or dreadmill for 30-40 minutes, TRX and then adventures in the testosterzone

Thanks for the responses guys and gals! I probably did go out hell for leather but I was trying to keep up with a friend who only had a baby 4 months ago! The woman is a MACHINE! I got home and collapsed on the floor, SHE got home and started making dinner/looking after baby/tidying the house :noway: She is military so…

I am a great driver. Im English and my teeth are just fine. Im a wife who doesnt mind if the hubby wants to watch football or play video games all day. Im a mother who doesnt think her kids are better than everyone elses. I HATE clothes shopping. Im blonde but not stupid. I have piercings and tattoos and wear biker boots…

None of my friends are veggies and I cant say that its ever come up in conversation. I eat chicken and pork but dont like beef so I go for the veggie substitutes for mince, burgers and sausages (mainly because of the vom-tastic gristly bits in them)

If you think you're out of shape now, wait till your 30's after 2 kids. Get your @ss in gear, its harder to do later on!

Ive been soda-sober for 2 months :drinker: First two weeks of just plain water were tough, the fizz was calling to me and the amount of bathroom trips was RIDICULOUS. Now all I drink is plain water, roughly 2.5l a day and the crazy thing is my sweet tooth is no longer in control. I can have just ONE biscuit, normal juice…
