When it came to stopping how easy did you find it? I tried before but got paranoid about underestimating everything and found it hard not to just add it up in my head anyway. I'm soon to reach maintenance. I'm lucky because my instinctive choices are always healthy with an occasional craving, which subsides with a small…

YUM!!

Groovy. Thanks for the advice! Carrot cake is my second favourite (can't beat mum's boiled fruit) so I'm sure I will enjoy

I don't know if it works with pumpkin but with sunflower seeds I toast them (in oven, grill or warmed in frying pan) until they start to brown and smell like popcorn and then let them cool and mix in a bit of soy sauce with them. SO yum and great on salad.

yep as long as you're living a healthy lifestyle and the processed food is in moderation I don't see any point in changing; it's the the little treats that can make this lifestyle much easier to maintain

Yes I am at the beginning of the process. I am trying to get rid of my 'high fat fear' which has been so prevalent in marketing and also getting more protein (bit tricky as a pescetarian on a very strict budget). So far so good. It's amazing how psychologically a slice of bread seems so much more filling than a couple of…

couple of rice cakes with peanut butter and banana on one and smoked salmon with tabasco, lemon, pepper on the other

Hi everyone. I accidentally made an entire jar of salad dressing (not done it before, went a bit mad!) and I only use a tbsp for each salad (1 a day) so am unlikely to charge through it very fast. How long do you think it will keep in the fridge? It's just lemon juice and olive oil with a bit of balsamic vinegar. Thanks!

can't go wrong with porridge!

Yesterday was my birthday. Normally I love running and am particularly keen when I know I need a good appetite for celebrating! Unfortunately, me knee is injured so I wasn't able to. Nevertheless, I still had everything I wanted... seafood linguine then a scoop of ice cream for pudding, half a bottle of wine and three…

almond milk in porridge. trust.

A massive scoop of myprotein diet whey double chocolate is only around 210 calories and I can't believe how filling it is. In the sense that throughout the day not just until the next meal my hunger is easily satiated. The first time I tried with water and couldn't finish it it was so sweet (don't have a sweet tooth) but I…

Roughly how many grams would a scoop be please? Also how many pancakes does that make?

I make it with water (just prefer it) and then add a couple of teaspoons of instant diet hot chocolate e.g options so it goes all chocolatey and nom. Tried this with porridge with milk in as well but for some reason doesn't work as well it goes too creamy so can't taste the chocolate

IT'S SO GREAT. You get proper portions...I was so full after making the sweet 'n' sour chicken last night (and so was my brother which says A LOT) and the Spanish chicken is to die for. I couldn't recommend this more. They certainly don't substitute flavour at all :)

I want to see if I can sort it out on my own first because if I'm just told to gain weight that won't help me at all. I will book an appointment soon but if that's the only advice I'm given then I'd appreciate other help from anyone else who's had the same issue :)

me 8 binge 2

Me- 6 Binge- 1

I'm struggling with this at the moment also. I find the best thing to do is to accept the binge and not overcompensate the next day for it. I try and reduce the amount of 'bad' foods in the house as much as possible so even if I were to binge it's not possible to do it to the point that it becomes unhealthy or negative. I…

haha I know, a lot of the motivation came from knowing I would be on holiday with such skinny friends. Was tricky to keep it up when one of them eats chocolate and chips all day and never gains weight!

An example of my day if this helps :) Breakfast: Porridge made with water with a teaspoon of tesco light choices hot chocolate powder Lunch/Dinner: Weight watchers tortilla wrap with fried peppers and courgettes (with extra light philadelphia) Omelette made with 2 eggs, low fat cottage cheese, feta, sundried tomatoes and…
