I too, could never get a grip. It's so important to log your food intake. When you see it in black and white you're more able to make changes. That's…

  • Hello, I had my ovaries and uterus taken out when I was 36. Thank God, I had all 3 of my children by the time I was 22. It was very hard at first but now that I am 42, I don't really have many symptoms. Some things I found helpful where sleeping in only underwear, exercise and drinking tons of water. I had a brain injury…

  • Homeschoolmom, STRESS, will definately hold on to the weight. Have you ever tried yoga or relaxation exercises? God's Blessings.
  • Experts say, you should eat 4 to 5 small meals a day. Pack healthy snacks throughout your day such as: cheese sticks, almonds (100 calorie pack), fresh fruits or veggies, yogurt etc. Always eat breakfast. I like to boil 12 eggs on the weekend and use then for a quick snack or when I am running late. You will be amazed at…

  • Ebarley, I am here to help you in any way I can. It's important not to give up and to Breathe, Eat and Move! Start off walking and each day add 5 minutes, till you're up to an hour a day. For me, To learn what to eat and what not to eat I printed out the shopping list for phase one of the south beach diet. It helped me. I…

  • Hello, I too, am a big sweets eater. However, I have found that I crave what I eat. Also when I want something sweet, I have a cup of tea with sweet & low or some sweetner like that. Try to stay out of party situations and if you must go don't drink. I find my reasoning gets messed up after 2 drinks and I always eat more.…

  • I'm not exactly sure what plan your doing.( I haven't heard of it) However, from experience once you hurt yourself or get an injury you're out for weeks. Maybe just cut back on some calories and do some fast pace walking. Only you know your body. Good luck and God's many Blessings. Trasista4
