Just now getting around to replying to this topic.... Fiber One Cereal is great w/ low-fat chocolate milk. Also, w/ regular milk try "spicing" it up a bit: add just a touch of sweetner of your choice, lots of cinnamon, and about a capful of vanilla extract. YUMMY!!!!

bump...so i'll have it for later

BUMP...I am interested in everyone's progress...

Canned pumpkin can be used as well

Today, your heart-rate was above the "zone" for more time than usual, thus burning more calories.

Also, there is plenty you can eat that comes in a can/box. Like: slow-cook oatmeal, yogurt, unsweetend applesauce, canned pumpkin, oatbran, cottage cheese, raisins, almonds, just to name a few. Be sure to CHECK labels to be certain there is no added sugar, etc. Like Libby's canned pumpkin says: "pumpkin"

The Clean Eat-Clean Diet book, Tosca Reno. She also has a workbook and recipe book. You might do a search for her. There is also lots of information on the Oxygen Magazine website.

Thank you for the motivation!! My plan is to cook yummy meals at home, INSTEAD of eating-out! Just a tiny splurge, instead of blowing it.
-
CONGRATS on your success!!

I splurged and bought a pair about a year ago, then sold them a few months later. In my opinion, they weren't worth wearing...unless, maybe, I literally walked around in them 24 hours a day. Probably 5 minutes of leg work a day would equal the results...and then you can wear cuter shoes!! Again, this is only MY experience.

I found it near the baking products, flour and such...brown box...can't recall the brand right now, sorry. It wasn't more than $3-4 Hope you try it!

I bought milled flax seed...I think it's better to crush yourself, but that was the only option Wal-Mart had. Two servings this morning w/ breakfast and snack and feeling FULL!!!...i'm hooked!
-
Ab wheel...DIFFICULT Maybe you should check your gym for one, mine has it

Just had to share my recent experience with flax seed... I have always read/heard about the benefits of flax seed, but never wanted to add the extra calories to my meals. I finally bought a box and added a tablespoon, to pretty-much everything I ate yesterday...oatmeal, protein shakes, salad dressing. The amazing thing was…

I cycled for the first time with my 35 pound son in the bike trailer, some uphill, some down hill and burned about 150 cals in 45 minutes... I also have a polar f4. So for me it was definetly not an effective workout, but still a fun activity to do with the kids.

Okay, this ones a little strange...avacado and strawberry sandwich chicken breast, spinach, sliced avacado and strawberries on toasted whole wheat i spread a wedge of laughing cow cheese on mine....YUMMY! I'm sure it would be great as a salad also

I think the key-word here is "convenience"...sure protein bars are better than fast food, but not as good for your body as REAL food. All of the added chemicals in convenient food has a negative effect on optimum health. In the end, you have to weigh the positive and negatives for yourself and make that choice. My personal…

I'm with you, Amy_B...1200 calories is NO problem for me! But, I do agree w/ a poster about the STAH Mom's...on day's when my little one and I are at home ALL day, I definetly tend to eat more. I have to find ways to stay busy!
-
My only shopping choice is Wal-Mart... so Wholly Guacamole 100 cal packs...LOVE avacados, but they always go bad on me Hood 2% chocolate milk, 90 cals, 3 grams of sugar and 8 protein, DELISH! serve quinoa in place of rice

My vote is for Oxygen, it's awesome!

Thanks for the kind words and support. Yes, I have tried stevia, but very minimally...I have to really watch it or I will be sweetening EVERYTHING! Good luck to everyone!
-
Thanks Lauramg and good luck to you as well!

Yes, I am guilty of posting without a formal introduction...Hi to all!... I have been using MFP for about 3 weeks now and love the ease of tracking my food, as well as the msg boards and information. I am a stay-at-home (for the most part) wife and mother of 2. I also teach group fitness, including step and weight classes.…
