Not a SAHM, never was but I give you all big props cause I'd lose my sanity lol. My kids are grown now. However, I do workouts at home as well as take a lot of walks. I do recommend Leslie Sansone YouTube videos. Burns lots of calories and you get a good workout.

I was just telling a friend that when I looked at her diary, I noticed that she had Hormel bacon, 4 slices, 160 calories. I weighed my measly one slice of bacon by oz and it was 139 calories. It definitely helps to weigh your food to know how much you are really ACCURATELY consuming.

I love her YouTube videos! When I can't go outside and walk, her 3 mile walking videos are a lifesaver! Looks like I've been losing 1.3 lbs a week and so far I've lost around 11 lbs. I had a pork chop with cream of mushroom, green beans with red potatoes AND a side of Kim chee all for around 400 cals... 500 cals makes for a very filling dinner!

i eat turkey bacon almost every day. I agree it doesn't taste exactly like bacon, but it does taste pretty good. Jennie-O and Oscar Mayer brands are the best. Bought a new kitchen scale today, don't know what happened to my other one. Found that I have been "over logging" my food. Which of course, is a good thing, right? LOL
