  • Hi all, found this thread and thought I’d say hi. 64 and relating to the topic. Been tending to go up and down in terms of weight, glucose levels (been type II for a couple decades or so), and focus on health. It just gets harder as we age. It’s still the only game in town though. Hope everyone has a great and productive…
  • 1200 is pretty low and probably not sustainable. In the same boat myself (mid 60s), tend to go up and down, key is to change behaviors and things in the long term, but it’s hard and I’m having mixed results but keeping moving forward even when the progress isn’t what I’d like and I get setbacks. Any exercise you can do is…
  • Hi to all the new people. I've been on here for a while but off and on and now back with a renewed focus. I'm in my 60s and dealing with the training and health issues that entails, feel free to add me.
  • Hi, new member to this group. Off and on MFP over the past few years, working on getting a better focus on health. 63 years old and about another 25 lbs to lose to my final goal. Feel free to add me as a friend. Love bicycling but have some knee issues right now that I'm working through (stupidly over training so nobody…
  • Back on here more now, was off for a bit and put some weight back on, need to drop about 30 lbs. And general fitness, that gets harder with every decade. Always looking for friends in the journey towards a healthier life.
  • Saw this thread out there and thought I'd say hi, been off and on here (MFP) for years, needing to get back and focused, spring is coming (I like bicycling and winter has not been kind to my training). Hitting 63 in not too many more days, nice to see more mature people on here. Hope everyone is staying healthy.
  • I've been off of MyFitnessPal for a bit, trying other things and that didn't work out well at all. Looking to get motivated and back on track. Feel free to add me.
  • Hi all, feel free to add me as a friend. At 61 and dropping some weight, dropped 20+ in the last couple months and have another 20+ or so lbs to go till ideal. T2 and getting that under better control, exercise levels have fantastically helped that.
  • Hi, getting back involved here after some time off and looking for friends to motivate and keep me motivated.
  • Western Michigan, no mountains but 4 seasons.
  • Feeling it also, hit 61 this year. Was on here in the past but fell off, getting back to using this and looking for more friends to help keep me motivated and active here. Looking to get back to being more active, dropping 35 lbs or so and getting my blood sugar under control. Please feel free to add me.
  • Getting back to logging daily and looking for friends to help with motivation.
  • @peleroja, the fix of setting steps to use those from fitbit seemed to fix mine, but I'd tried to disconnect and reconnect yesterday and that seemed to work also, but only for a while. Hopefully this will fix it longer term but it sounds like they have some issues with the connector.
  • Looking to focus on exercise more, gets harder with each passing decade, feel free to add me as a friend.
