Oh. I found a grain free protein powder and though I don't want to rely on smoothies, it would be nice for when I just don't wanna eat. Last night I was so uninspired that I just grabbed a Lara bar. I know... Not good.

Yes, I can always use more paleo friends. Please feel free to add me :-)

I sent you a friend request, I need as many supporters as possible. I have done really well the last few days. It's (I guess) a Whole 7 to get me back in the swing, then back to a sustainable Paleo/Primal way of eating. I feel so much better!

I have a Charge and I love it! It doesn't feel bulky once I got used to it. It really helps me keep physical activity at the front of my mind.
-
Thank you, I appreciate the support.

Thanks so much. I have done the frozen water bottle before when I had a PF flare-up a while back. This feels like that plus it just feels like my bones and tendons hurt. I will go to YouTube and find some exercises and maybe that will help. One thing I know is that it's a huge motivator to lose this weight.

I love anything by Shiva Rae (sp?)

I need friends to help motivate!! I am https://www.fitbit.com/user/328R3Z

Thanks, Samdu :-)

Welcome back!! I am back as well. I went through a phase where I ate whatever I wanted and gained back a LOT. I am pretty disappointed with myself. I am hoping to be fully back on the wagon soon. Maybe try another Whole 30. Anyways, it's great to see you :-)

I like Mark Sisson's (Mark's Daily Apple) Primal approach. To simplify, it's paleo with limited dairy and operates on the 80/20 rule. 80% on point and 20% room to have things you love.

Awesome!!!!

I agree about the hybrid schedule. I am doing a different hybrid schedule, but they are the best of both worlds.
-
Do you have the first or latest book. I have both but am going to follow the second one. I know he's got a few different plans, I need to look again. Which one are you doing?
-
I fully agree, there is usually no way to sustain a "diet" but maybe you can make little changes and build on them.
-
I was thinking about trying this! I lean more towards Paleo though. I am in the process of organizing my weekly menu, I went to the farmer's market this morning (I always plan around that) I will get out his books and do it with you :-) It will be nice to have support.

I always take a rest day one day a week, or when I feel I need the regeneration. Even when I take a rest day though I will do something light like walking, or stretching. I feel that my body needs the rest time, but I am careful not to take too many rest days because I am in a good habit of working out every day and want…

Hi :-) I know I'm late to the game but I am just starting the Beta phase (on Monday!!) I am so excited to be moving on. I LOVE T25, and it is great that it is an intense 25 minutes. My very favorite one is Speed, but I am waiting to see which one in the beta phase I like. I ordered it the first day it came out! Feel free…

Turbo Fire sounds perfect for you. There is a lot of dancing and core strength. There is jumping, but you can adjust it to be low impact. The music is good and it's so fun!!
-
Yes, TF is high impact but there are adjustments that can be made. In the DVDs there is someone showing that option. It would depend on the instructor. I say go for it, and if something doesn't feel right then don't do that. I love TF and have seen people pf all fitness levels rock it.
-
Turbo Fire is fun, awesome and effective!! I LOVE it!!
-
You can add me as well :) I am getting back to tracking. I am not perfect either. I am about 90% though, and I didn't track today because it was my 'off' workout day and Mother's Day (brunch, but I did stay Paleo after all)
-
Oh my, that sounds so good!!
-
You can manually enter it, but unless you have a HRM, you will not know the exact calories burned. If you wanted though, find something that is similar and guess. I would round down though.
-
I agree with this post, stay home and take a light walk if you are up to it.
-
Love chocolate!! Thanks guys!! That helped :D
-
I am just curious as to what everyone else is doing.
-
Yes, thanks :D I meant the percentages. I have been needing to track again.

Really, weight training will fire up your metabolism and it can have a cardio effect if you do intervals. Sometimes I have found that letting up on my routine (if I have been doing a LOT of working out,) gets me out of the plateau. Maybe you could try some HIIT on days you are not weight training. I love HIIT and it shakes…

Planks are really good because they do work the whole core and not just the belly. I don't have a picture of what a plank is, but maybe someone will be able to post a pic for you. Are you interested in strengthening your whole body? Spot reducing doesn't generally work. Ab ripper is good as is the whole p90x program.
