  • I LOVE IT! Hands down one of the best programs I've started (and actually stuck with for once!) The legs look great, and I can barely start to see def. in my arms. If the appearance change is minimal, the strength gain is much better than that! My bf is my trainer, he's a PT so I figure he knows what he's talking about. :)…
  • Also, try going by inches, not pounds! I bet if you're strength training and the such, you are losing inches. She will only end up just "skinny fat" with no strength or definition.
  • She'll gain it back. Sounds like she's starving herself to beat you. The longer it takes to come off, the longer it will stay off! :) Don't fret!
  • DO strength training!! Eat lots of veggies - lots of color, the more the better! (and not the Cheetoes kind of color!)
  • Biking. It's easy on your knees and a great source of cardio.
  • PS the veggie mix is fresh, not frozen.
  • I love their pre-packaged stir fry veggie mix. Get that, along with some teriyaki marinated tofu for an awesome and super quick stir fry! Also, LOVE the powerberries! (They're in a purple bag.) The white balsamic is excellent for veggies and marinating (and cheap!) And of course the WINE SELECTION!! Basically everything…
  • That sounds like so much fun!! I would suggest "Under the Sea" definitely, and also "Be Our Guest"...both have a pretty quick beat!
  • My face gets REAL red for about one or two glasses...by the third it's faded though. lol I heard it's an allergic reaction.
  • Feta and goat cheese might be on there? I'm not positive though.
  • Cookinglight.com is my #1. skinnytaste.com is my #2 :)
  • Spinach! Now I love it in every form!
  • Chicago, Chicago...Wicker Park to be exact.
  • I just did a stir fry last night...hard to screw up! Just buy the veggies you want, add the protein (I did teriyaki marinated tofu, and a bit of chicken), and stir fry it up in some olive oil/light soy sauce! I also added some garlic powder and ginger powder to taste, and some crushed red pepper for a kick. It turned out…
  • I LOVE asparagus drizzled with light balsamic, and grilled, lightly sprinkled with some parm. My favorite way to eat it, and in the summer it's a great side! Replace balsamic with lemon juice for an even lighter option! YUM! It's probably my favorite vegetable!
  • BUMP...anyone?? :-/ grr.
  • Pineapple chicken salad (everytime I make it, people GOBBLE it down) Boiled/shredded/cubed chicken Crushed walnuts Crushed pineapple (DRAINED) a PINCH of sugar Relish White onion TINY bit of salt Black pepper to taste Miracle Whip Mix it all up and I serve on light Hawaiian rolls as mini sliders. (Good for portions!) :) I…
  • Did I mention I really want to get my arms/shoulders toned for summer?? lol...tank top motivation...
  • I just bought a resistance band with handles and a door mount for $17. Nice because as I progress I'll be able to switch them out on the cheap!
  • Cottage cheese Sweet potatoes Radishes (weird, I know, I just like the kinda spicy!) Jicama with horseradish dip
  • Just what I needed to pick my motivation back up! Thanks girl, and you're awesome! :) Would you mind sharing recipes/favorite foods/etc. that helped you stay in that range? I am at a 1200 limit as well right now without working out and would love to know how you did your meals. (I have about 15-20 to lose but it still…
  • I totally get you. He incredulously commented the other night how i "wouldn't even have ONE chip!" While we were on our way to a giant homecooked meal. Apparently he couldn't wait a half hour. I don't think he gets what a "trigger" is... and his eating/snacking after 9 doesn't help me either. Any suggestions? I like to…
  • I always make sure to have essential salad stuff- lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions. Chicken breasts are always in my freezer, its easy to throw together a quick marinade in the morning ready to go when i get home. For snacks i get the light laughing cow cheese and wheat unsalted crackers, and i love those del monte…
  • Definitely a trigger for me as well! Good work! I had a similar success at breakfast yesterday...talked myself (aloud) out of the hash browns and ordered the fruit side instead.
  • Just started tracking on here just over a week ago. SW: 155 CW: 151 GW: 135 We'll see how long I stick with it! Keeping the motivation is huge for me, but seeing pics is always good! I took my "before" pics a couple days ago. Not posting on here until there is a noticeable difference!
  • I get you! What I do is cook in bulk and them I have portion ready leftovers in tupperware containers the rest of the week. Quick in a pinch too! I have also learned to cut recipes as well. And if I just make too much I either share it with my sister or bf (they're my cooking guinea pigs!) Or freeze it for later.
  • I like pineapple, peaches or pears. Or just plain with black pepper (I know it sounds weird, but that started in college. :) )
  • I'm 28, 5'5" and have about 15-20 that I want lose. Feel free to add me!
  • Weddings are great motivation! I have 4 more lined up this year, and the wedding circuit is hitting me hard mentally. All my friends somehow got into serious relationships and got fit and amazing looking, while I got bigger and happy in my relationship! Now every time I see them I'm a pound or two more. My boyfriend eats…
