  • Completed session 12 tonight. Consistently increasing squat (115) and deadlift (135), feeling really pumped with lower body. OHP(45) is driving me crazy, I am making no progress with this exercise except my form is better, I suppose that is something. My goal for the remainder of May is to hit 50lbs on OHP.
  • Oh my goodness this is amazing. My name is Ruth and I live in Indiana. Yesterday I said "I hate running, this sucks, I will never run again!!!" after an especially hot and hilly run. I think I need some motivation, I am defintly starting this adventrue tomorrow. Love the idea of keeping track on an actual map. I just…
  • Hello! Just started 2 weeks ago, coming off of NROL4W. I'm amazed how quickly the sessions move, stellar.
  • I usually do road/trail run 2-3 times a week and try to do a 20 min pilates 2 times a week. I love Zombies, Run! just did the first run of season two today.
  • Emtabol01- totally needed more than 30 sec. workout 2 went much more smoothly because I took some more time in between sets and dropped my weight on a few things. This stage is beast!
  • I did workout 1 today and felt like I was going to hork after the second set. Only finished 3 sets and booked it out of there with real fear in my heart I wouldn't make it without an incident. On the up side, I shocked myself with knocking out all those push ups. Prior to starting this program I could hardly do a few girl…
  • Hello Hello, I eat at 10-15% cut.
  • I Love this word! The word that makes me feel icky is panties especially when said by a man. Just so...creepy.
  • I'm on stage 5 too and wondering the same thing. I'd like to check out supercharged a bit more but have been leaning towards stronglifts.
  • I have seen people do some crazy *kitten* things at my gym, these people gave me the confidence to start a strength program. I figured I couldn't possibly be the strangest looking/acting person at the gym. I would like to put a thank you out to the guy with the super short shorts doing burpees.
  • I too missed the back squat and found I HATED the dumbbell single-arm overhead squat. I almost dropped the weight on my head and decided I should not do these for personal safty reasons. I switched workout A around a bit, start with back squat and moved one-armed dumbbell squat to C1. I no longer dread A. Yay! Good luck…
  • Appetite for Reduction by Isa Chandra Moskowitz has some great ideas and each recipe has nutrition facts. Good luck, happy eating!
  • Anything by David Sedaris and Christopher Moore. Bossypants by Tina Fey and one of my favorites Good Omens by Neil Gaimen/Terry Pratchett.
  • Hello! Would love to add more friends
  • Oh wow, this is crazy sauce. I'm in. Edit: I'm in for next week I suppose, if that's a thing. Good luck everyone!
  • Thanks, I definitly do some finger wiggles and other silly looking stuff in between sets now, it does help a bit. I know this may seem a bit strange but I kind of love my weight lifting calluses, they make me feel like a badass.
  • Hey All! I'm starting stage 4 on Sunday. Looking forward to some of the oldies: bulgarian split squat and static lunge, they were evil and I loved them. Push press was a bit sad the first go around #35 was pretty much my max. I hope to turn that sad face in this coming month. I have noticed that my hands have been hurting…
  • You can do it, promise. The first time I attempted to do the prone jackknife I fell off the ball multiple times and could barley complete the manuver. It took a few sessions but now I can knock em out no problem.
  • I totally understand, I thought One arm squat would be pretty easy, start out with a med-easy weight 15lbs. I started down and not only almost fell over but about bashed my head in with weight. This excercise is extreamly awkward for me as well. ended up using 8lbs and pulling some pretty amusing faces of strain along the…
  • I start stage 2 on Friday as well. I feel like I've been doing stage 1 forever, I'm nervous to change.
  • Hey lady, I completely understand, the first time I saw my goal of 149 grams of protein I had no clue how to make that work. I'm still trying to balance whole food forms of protein and supplements. I do have an extra shake on lift days and one bar for a snack throughout the day. Good luck! Btw, this weekend was wonky for…
  • I drive a lot for work so I listen to books pretty often. My most recent favorites have been Bossypants read by Tina Fey and A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. Both have made me look a little nuts as I am cackling like a hyena in public. Worth it though.
  • Arms, oh yes. I had been developing some amazing wing-like upper arms.
  • Oh my goodness, I hear ya. 30% is a lot, I've been hitting it or getting close just recently .
  • Oh my goodness! This will be happening tomorrow, thanks!
