  • Check out Kelly Coffey Meyers collection on Amazon
  • I just saw today that Kind bars now come in jalapeno and honey mustard flavors, maybe more.
  • So I thought I was looking forward to hooping outside this afternoon but at 60 degrees it was still a little too chilly for me! So I got about 25 minutes done inside, still just walking forward and backward and spinning a bit, lots of fun!!
  • No hooping for me today, super sore from kickboxing yesterday. See you tomorrow!
  • Got in 20 minutes this morning! I can now walk forward, spin around and walk back, very excited!
  • Hi All! I Apologize In Advance For The Caps, I Don't Know How To Fix It! So Today I Did 30 Minutes Straight For The First Time! I'm Pretty Efficient At Waist Hooping And Am Practicing Walking Forward A Few Steps Now In My Limited Indoor Space. Here's My Question For The Veterans- I Can Walk Forward About 5 Steps But Mess…
  • I want to give this a try! I have a weighted hoop and DVD!
  • Calories Budget? Yes Exercise? Yes Logged Everything? Yes!!!
  • Hi I'm Mel and bombed out on the Dec challenge on day 1, Here's to a new start!!
  • I'm out already :-( I'll try again next month
  • I'm curious, how long are the workouts? And can they really be done anywhere? Like with a toddler running around? In an old house with rickety doors? I've almost bought this book a couple times, still on my wish list.
  • A cup of cottage cheese with a handful of dried bluebe rries, cherries and sunflower seeds (hulled) or nuts, let it sit in the fridge or a thermos for a couple hours and the fruit will plump up
  • wow yes you can definitely see a big change!! Keep up the great work!!
  • More exercise! A 15 minute walk or other exercise... A cool shower... B vitamins in the afternoon.... Caffeine.... A 20 minute catnap
  • I just put my kidney beans in the crockpot, this evening I'll add a can of coconut milk, red curry paste, cauliflower and peas. We eat this over basmati rice but would be fine alone. Kidney beans also make a great cold salad, like tuna, with mayo, celery, red onions and pepper. About once a week we have a mexican based…
  • I bought a small Thermos brand container (comes with a spoon that fits in the lid!) that holds a cup of cottage cheese (30gm protein) that keeps cold all day long. I mix in craisins and pecans or sunflower seeds. Could be used for yogurt or refrigerator oatmeal too.
  • Not sure, I stopped bc two years ago and got pregnant and THAT made me fat lol
  • Do you live alone? Most bingers will only binge when alone, I used to and would have been mortified if anybody saw me during a"big one". Figure out when you're most likely to binge, weekend evenings or when you are hung over or tired, and just make yourself busy. Go see some friends or just get out of the house. Don't keep…
  • I just read an article (maybe Scooby workshop) that in some study the most successful women to lose inches and tone up were rewarding 800 calories and lifting. Not for me thank you but obviously somebody thinks it's a good idea.
  • There is an article with videos and pictures on Scooby Workshop, laying out a plan to eventually do pull ups, beginning with "walk the plank" chin ups using a chair and then gradually progressing.

  • I don't think its unusual but I don't think its ok lol. By the time your urine is dark, your body is already in trouble. Try carrying a gallon of water with you everywhere with the goal of drinking it by the end of the day, consistently throughout the day, every single day. I think after a few days your body will adjust…
  • I met with a nutritionist regularly when I was pregnant due to gestational diabetes and the diet plan I was on stressed the importance of balancing all 3 macros with every meal and snack. I think the protein and fat help to delay the breaking down of the carbs into sugars in your blood stream too quickly. And if I didn't…
  • Ugh the first one, definitely! I'm only a few workouts in, I swear I could benefit from just lifting the bars with no weights and squatting my body weight. I had no idea I was so weak!!
  • The most annoying person is ME! I have been lifting at home but I still go to the gym a few days per week, sit on the recumbant bike and watch tv, it's my baby free me-time and "going to the gym" justifies leaving the baby at my moms for an extra hour. Plus we have no tv at home. No apologies here!

  • I like to munch on soy nuts or pumpkin seeds ALL DAY. Plus I make a game out of drinking an obscene amount of water so the trips to the fountain and bathroom keep me occupied (very dull desk job lol). And as long as I eat enough calories (around 1700 right now) and balance my macros I honestly don't crave the junk that is…
  • When I was pregnant (so this might be gross in all actuality lol) I would saute them with cooked lo mein noodles, soy or ponzu sauce, and sesame seeds, chill and eat cold. This was so good in august.

  • I love healthy grains cream of wheat, I make it with double liquid so I can drink it with a straw
  • I don't know what you are already eating, but maybe just try increasing the calories in the food you are already eating? Switch to full fat dairy one week. Then when you feel comfortable, find a hardy multi grain bread at about 130 cal per slice. Those will add quite afew extra, healthy calories.
