I need more friends for motivation! Especially people who share their food diaries. It helps me to see different ways to eat!

I'm 5'5" and my old favorite thing to do was lose and gain the same 15 lbs. Would like to keep it off for real this time! And I am always looking for accountability buddies.

This is my main motive this time around. I keep losing and gaining the same 5, 10, 15 lbs and it's not getting any easier, but I'm not getting any younger and it's babytime! I'm hoping to lose 17.5lbs (10% of my bodyweight) before pregnancy, but I'm seeing my doctors in the next couple months and goals may change. I just…

I would make sure your cardiologist is aware that you gained 4lbs in 2 days. I'm sorry for what you're going through and hope it all works out for you.

Anyone can add me. 30 and just started back up! I travel a lot for work and have this problem with experiencing everywhere I go through food and not more active pastimes. I'm 5'5.5'' and currently 167, trying to get to 132.

Be physically fit enough to not embarrass myself while hiking on my Ireland trip in June.

Your doctor should be making this diagnosis, not you or the people on the forums. By this post, it's hard to tell if you've seen your doctor yet. If you haven't, you should do so. They can test your A1C, which tells what your blood sugar has been over the past couple months. They can also guide you with dietary advice, or…

I'm 5'5'', (re)started at 174 lbs in February, and I'm down to 157.6. I'm getting married in September and would like to be in the 140s; it's really an arbitrary goal but I'm sticking to it lol. My ultimate goal weight is low 130s, but I'm not putting a timeline on it. I'll get there when I get there.

Congratulations! My engagement ring is spinning too! My fiance is afraid to let me get it resized, but I told him the alternative is me being afraid I'll lose it. I really didn't expect to lose size in my fingers lol.

Did you make any other changes? Did you switch birth controls? Did you change shampoos? Are you showering/washing your hair more frequently?

Pretzels with nutella... except I can't keep nutella around because I eat the whole jar in one sitting. .. mmmmmmm

If you require a special diet, which may just include counting carbs, your doc should've given you some information lol. Good news is your condition is reversible. Exercise creates more glucose receptors, so start moving a little more. Get in touch with a registered dietician or diabetes educator (nurse who specializes in…

I still do binge at times. I still want to do it far more frequently. It just never helped, you know? The binge gives that full feeling, but it's always followed by feeling lousy for me. It was just a band-aid for whatever made me want that complete, full sensation. I used to be very thin in high school because it was the…

I haven't but I have a couple friends from nursing school who are really into it. Not only do they love it for how fun it is, but their arms and backs look great. They make me want to try it!

Day 2 today. The arm exercises are no joke.

I was thinking of getting a food scale too. My progress slowed and although there were multiple factors, I know underestimating my calories in was one of them. It really is the only way to be accurate.
-
Started it again today. I never even completed the ten days of level 1 the first time. I'm definitely starting at a better fitness level because it wasn't as challenging as I remember but yeah it's challenging haha

I err on the side of calling it less active. For example, as a nurse, my job can be very labor-intensive. But, on days off, I'm a couch potato. So I figure I even out to lightly active.

I save my calories for the alcohol

I didn't have any issues with weight gain. It helped improve my mood and I stopped binging simply because I didn't need that coping mechanism anymore. I was devastated when I had to come off it. It turns out I have a low seizure threshold, so taking Wellbutrin caused me to have seizures. Pretty frustrating.

The biggest thing I do to keep my diet in check overnight is to pack my lunch. That 2am Wawa run for "coffee" becomes sandwiches and other things real fast when you're hungry. I tend to exercise before I go to work as I don't sleep as long during the day.

Is a quick rinse of cool water without soap out of the question with your skin condition? It might be worthwhile to run this question by your dermatologist when you see them. I'm a nurse so I see traches all the time, and it is nothing for you to be ashamed of. I also see people with chronic conditions who don't do…

I did South Beach for awhile years ago. I had good results, but I tend to eat way over in terms of portions on the stuff that is initially not allowed on phases 1 & 2. If your doc put you on South Beach... did you not get the book? It literally has pages with what is encouraged and not encouraged depending on your phase,…

You have a great list so far. Try preparing the veggies differently. I didn't used to like certain vegetables, but I found that roasting them in the oven really changed the flavor for me.

You both sound frustrated. If you both truly went from fast food to vegan for your health, then yeah, I can see him resenting if you cheat. But you don't know if that's what's bothering him until you ask him. Just talk to him! You can both get it out and then have some black bean tacos.

Did you ask your ortho doc or whoever is supervising your treatment?

I'm 5'5'', 27, and looking to lose 30ish more lbs. I definitely need some support haha. I haven't regained but I haven't been keeping up the pace I'd had earlier in the year.
