Me too! I did great on here a few years ago, but started slacking. I decided it’s time to get back at it. Please feel free to add me :)

I'm 5'5", 147 lbs. Size 8/medium. Used to be more of an apple shape, but starting to see more of an hour glass now, yay! I didn't think that was possible.

I'm still kind of a Springfield newbie myself, I've been here 6 months, but I can try to help! I think a horshoe is a must (or a pony, the smaller version) at least once. I take family and friends who visit to Charlie Parkers, but you can get them all over. Washington Park is nice for walking/running and the Lincoln sites…

Stick with level one until you feel comfortable moving up. It doesn't have to be completed in 30 days. Good luck!

I ran the color run last fall and it was sooo much fun!! You will have a blast :) As for what to bring, keep stuff for cleaning up in your car and carry your phone (if you want to take pictures) and keys in a zip-loc bag when you run. I wouldn't bring money unless you are planning to buy more color packets. The "paint" is…

If using the treadmill hurts your knees and you still want to get some physical activity in you could try doing some seated/chair exercises or use a resistance band. Do a Google search for ideas. Good luck!

It can at least help you strengthen your core. I attended a women's health conference last month and during one of the presentations a doctor suggested doing this and incorporating things like lunges and calf raises into activities like grocery shopping or doing laundry. Sounds like a great way to sneak in some exercise…

I hated 30DS when I first started it, but now I love it! It's a great workout that you can squeeze in if you don't have a lot of time. I say stick with it, it will get easier and you will start feeling stronger. Do the easier movements in the beginning and don't move up a level until you are comfortable. If you have to do…

Not all health related, but all are good reads: Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder Little Princes by Conor Grennan - this is my new favorite!

I have been doing this for a while since I have curly hair. I normally do a conditioner wash (co-wash) to keep it moisturized and only use sulfate free shampoo otherwise my hair gets dry and unmanageable.

Great job!! Go Blue

Try resistance bands or therabands, there are a bunch of different exercise you can do with them (try YouTube), sitting down or standing, and they don't take up a lot of space.

Down 1.5 lbs, it's small but getting closer!

Count me in! 16 pounds will get me to my ultimate goal weight! I would love to be there by Christmas (or even the end of the year) and I could use some motivation since I have hit a plateau! Good luck all! CW: 161 GW: 145

I just finished week 4 and day one was tough, the hardest run I have had so far. I was a little worried about completing the rest of the week, but it actually got easier with days 2 and 3! Now to conquer the dreaded week 5! Good luck and stay motivated!

I signed up to the Color Run 5k on August 5th. I'll have just finished C25K the week before the run and I thought it would be a good idea to start out with a fun 5k! It looks like a great time and it has been an awesome motivator :) Can't wait!
