No advice here but I want to know about this too  Sometimes this is all so confusing!

Chips and salsa... I eat way to much. But oh so deliciously salty and spicy.

I drink either coffee with a bit of sugar free Coffeemate french vanilla creamer or I drink Tazo Zen green tea with a bit of honey.

You just described me (except I inherited from my mother's side, I only have two kids, and I'm only 29  But the rest is right on, it just sucks that no matter what I do I'm still tired, depressed, and irratable. Coming to the realization that I am going to have to live with it and take life moment by moment.

I was just going to post a topic about this also! I have breakfast and supper down it's just lunches that seem to give me a problem. I don't like tuna or cottage cheese and salads don't typically fill me up for very long. Any ideas? I would like something that doesn't take to long to prepare and that is tasty. Wow, when I…

I almost always "talk myself back into bed". I think I'm going to try putting my alarm across the room with my workout clothes right there. Once I'm out of bed what's the point of getting back in?

This makes me feel a bit better... now I know that I won't be the only one getting up in the wee hours of the morning!

I started out hating exercise with a passion. I detest going to the gym and I am too intimidated to use the free weights with all the "fit" people over there. However, I found a program that I love, and that is Turbofire. It's a mix of dance/kickboxing and I can do it at home. I have bought a couple of hand weight and…

Mine is a (US) size 4. I'm currently in a size 10 and at my high weight I was a size 16. I am hoping to get to at least a size 6 by Christmas

Just needed to make the IMG lower case img :) Great NSV!

I went to this website and figured out my BMR (estimate) which is what the calories that you would need to function if you were basically in a coma. This is your base. For me, my BMR is 1467 so I set my calories at 1500 and always eat back my exercise calories. This has worked for me so far. You might need to tweak it a…

It's all in what you want to do. If you feel that you can pick up where you left off, go for it! As for me, I'm a little weird about these things and would probably start over at the beginning  But I'm also a little OCD. Good luck and just get back to pushing play!

I did the prep schedule but I hadn't worked out in a long time. I think that you should be okay with starting the regular program. However, if you want to add an extra 9 weeks you can go ahead and do the prep, I still think that it is pretty intense :)

Great job! I'm doing TurboFire also and love it! Your arms are looking awesome
-
I don't know how tall you are or anything but I would still say that 1450 is too low for calorie intake. I average between 1500 to 1800 (eating back my exercise calories). I'm 5'6 and weigh 147 currently. I hit plateaus rather often :grumble: but keep on going. It's hard when you don't see the scale move but it's not just…

Great job! You're looking great!

It depends on you. Me personally I would start over because I am a perfectionist  But if you feel like you are doing well and can keep going then I think that is what you should do.
-
:grumble: You guys took all of mine that I was going to say  I do know in one of the videos she says kick high when she means punch high... Can't remember which one though.

I get either Pat Benatar or Janine Turner (from Northern Exposure).... can't really see either

Oh, and congrats on the loss!

You can use packing tape on the bottom of your shoes, large piece of plywood from home depot, or buy a workout mat that has "teeth" on the bottom? Hope these help
-
I had both knee and hip pain when I first started TF. I modified for a week or two, taped the bottom of my shoes with packing tape (for carpet workouts), and really focused on my stance and moves to make sure I was pivoting and jumping correctly. I also bought some minimus shoes from New Balance that I absolutely LOVE!…

Guess I'll add mine... This is my "in progress" pic taken about 2 weeks ago. sorry it's so big, can't get it resized right :grumble:
-
Ditto! I want this kinda pic done when I reach my goal weight... though it might be hard since I have really short hair
-
When I first started the program I had this issue also. A quick and cheap fix is to put some packing tape on your shoes to make them slippery, this helped me immensely! Ultimately I got some new shoes and now workout on hardwood floors, but the tape does work! Hope this helps

Thank you! That comment made me feel great! :blushing:
