Only thing that works for me is to get up and actually do it. I take 240mg of morphine plus other meds per day and the only way I can get my exercise done is if I force myself to do it. Coming from having an eating disorder I have a hard enough time eating food let alone having others pick at it. I don't look at others' diaries because I eat what I can, they eat what they can, and everybody is happy. I haven't had any of my friends complain about it. We're a mix of open and closed.

I have medical issues as well and I do the exercises but I do them very slowly and listen to my body. If it hurts stop! You have to give yourself time! I didn't lose any for about 3 weeks but I did lose inches. Have you measured? In my experience you lose inches before pounds. Good luck and DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I have the opposite problem...losing inches but not weight. You've only been at it for a month tho so I'd say give yourself time. It usually takes a little bit for my body to get the picture and fall in line:-)

Do you give yourself a "cheat day"? I find I stick to my diet better if I give myself one day a week to eat what I want to before heading back into the grind. I think they make great motivators. I'd say keep them but definitely don't buy any more until you've reached that goal.
